Will never return to this place. The male server was very unprofessional. The female server would not say anything to you and just push things onto the table and made it seem we were in her way. The male server was snappy and kept messing up the order. Asked for Green Limes 4 times and he brought lemons every time. Even spoke to him in Spanish thinking it could have been miscommunication and he got an attitude and still brought the wrong thing out. Gave him the order in English and Spanish and he didn’t take the order correctly. We were brought things to our table we didn’t even order. Fajitas were way too salty. Asked for one chicken one steak and got brought a mix fajita. The empanadas were burnt and no flavor. The taco Al pastor in the pineapple had no flavor and meat was undercooked. One of our dishes was taken to another table and they came to let us know that they served another table the wrong order and we had to wait for ours to come. We waited an hour for our food to come out of the back. After speaking with the owner/manager about the service a quality of food they acted like we ate the food and didn’t want to pay, which was not the case. We did not want to pay for what we didn’t order and the food we didn’t eat. The owner said this is the first time they hear about the dissatisfaction, but the reviews here for months now say other wise. They are over priced for poor quality and quantity of food. The owner said he would take care of the bill, but we didn’t not want that. We paid for what we ate and left the older lady at the bar a tip because she was the only respectful server they had. This place is not worth the hype it gets around town. Papis tacos is in the same parking lot and 100x better quality and quantity and...
Read moreThis was our second visit. The first visit was amazing so much we have been telling everyone we talk to how fun the restaurant is and how great the drinks are. We gave 2 stars because of how great the first visit was otherwise it would have been a 1 star. So here we go…we ordered a margarita flight, 2 of the 4 were not what we ordered but we are troopers so we figured we would just try them out anyways. That was our first mistake. All 4 margaritas had little to no tequila in them. We wouldn’t be surprised if they were virgin margaritas. We definitely didn’t order a 2nd flight as we did during our first visit. After tasting them (watered down fruit drink) we started to observe the bartenders and how they were making margaritas. We feel that a place called Tequila House would be making margaritas from scratch, not using a pitcher full of pre-made lime mix that was just resting on the bar. Food was not great either. My husband’s entree was missing ingredients and once the food was delivered we didn’t see a server until after both of us were done eating (I guess we should have walked around the restaurant with his food asking for help). Once the server approached us at the conclusion of our meal he asked “how was everything” my husband communicated that his entree was wrong to which he said “ok, do you need any boxes?” In summary, we will not be going back & not recommending this...
Read moreWe got the fish tacos and they are huge. Our waitress warned us but we got six of them and they were delicious but probably too much food and we could have gone with 1 order and something else. We ordered chips and salsa bc we figured it would be a while on the food but the food was out really quickly. It was also a Wednesday night and it was just me and my husband and it ended up all being too much food for us. The draft beer comes in a giant jar and might take a little while to drink. I ordered the hibiscus sunset something and it was maybe a little bitter for most people. If you like unsweetened hibiscus tea you might like it. I added a little bit of sugar packet and did like it. It probably could have used some honey, maybe. I also ordered the mango tango which is like tajin sauce and mango margarita and it was good but I was too full and didn’t finish it. The music was like disco and a little loud but the atmosphere is pleasant. It’s really cutely decorated with plants and flowers and art. We really liked it, probably should have picked separate dishes so we could have tried more stuff. The pastor tacos in a pineapple look interesting. The service was excellent, too. Oh and the fish tacos came with some really tastey habenero salsa. The fish tacos also had some smokiness to them and it was...
