Muchas Gracias Mexican Food — Restaurant in Ellensburg

First my husband and I were excited to try the new place in town only to get completely disappointed. I asked for the number 18 shrimp plate with no beans, I hate any kind of beans and don’t like them next to my food. The girl that took our order asked us to repeat it twice, and we still had to repeat it a third time later. She said the plate doesn’t come with beans, the picture very clearly shows it does. My husband ordered the same thing and to drink one of those Fresca drinks, he got the mango and it tasted AWFUL!!! Like all syrup nothing fresh at all. We got our plates and the shrimp was rubbery, the tortillas were over cooked and stale. And on my plate there was beans, she said it didn’t come with beans, and yet here are the beans touching the rest of my food. Everything tasted like it had been in a warmer instead of made fresh when we ordered. The waitress/cashier lady was not friendly not inviting and totally not interested in being there. We did not eat the food. We threw it away and had to go somewhere else and spend more money to have edible food for lunch. To top this awful experience off later when I looked at the receipt it said our meal was 40$ but she charged our card 53$ that’s 13$ over what the receipt says. Going back today to get that cleared up. Just totally disappointed cause I had heard the place was great to eat at. What a waste of time and money and experience. 000000 stars Do better!!! I wanted to post pics but it’s not giving me the option. I see what everyone else says and I’m like why couldn’t we get that experience? Ugh really...

I liked the food I was there opening day and the next.... However the customer service was lacking a bit BUT i wasn't going to say ANYTHING not a big deal... Today I saw it on doordash and before I made my order I called to make sure they were actually doing them in Ellensburg since it opened a couple days ago and as a 5 star doordash driver i have not gotten an order there.. Not only did she not answer my question but I got hung up on.... Ill stick with Tacos Chalitos 2 thanks.. Been eating there for 20 years.. Every other local should also support them over this corporate buissness...You obviously don't care about your customers like they do... You took over KFCs building and your food isnt bad but if this is how you treat local customers you won't last any longer than KFC did... SORRY you took over for Westside pizza who took the building from KFC... $20 says it doesn't last that long with the way you treat...

My daughter & I LOVE their burritos, tacos, & chimichangas. We’ve only ever ordered takeout, so can’t say I’ve experienced dining in. But they are so delicious! The only problem I’ve had with an order was the churros. We had 4 & they were all hard as a rock. We could hardly bite into them. But the food is quite a bit & seems very fresh aside from the churros. We loved every bit of it. Definitely ordering again… tonight in fact! For what you pay for- you get quite a bit of food as well. I ate 3 meals out of one. The children’s menus are great & tbey have my favorite horchata in town! They do not water it down. Definitely my daughter & my favorite place to eat when I don’t feel like cooking. 😋 Super reasonable too. My son goes over there on his lunch break also...
