So incredibly disappointed with my experience. Was excited to receive a new phone with their promo. The gal helping us assured us my phone number would transfer so we decided to switch from a different carrier. When she put my number in she said it was unable to transfer and she didn’t know why. I reluctantly decided to change my number and went ahead with setting up an account and getting a new phone. When I left I decided to stop in to my old carrier to see if they had a hold on my number and we cleared some things up and they assured me my number was good to go. Went back to US Cellular and she typed my number in again and it still wouldn’t work. She just sat there and looked at me and said sorry still doesn’t work I don’t know why. So I called US Cellular’s customer service line and within 2 minutes I had an answer and was told it should have been explained to me in the store. Strike 1. I get home, still feeling uneasy about having a new number, and realize the new phone doesn’t have all my contacts on it. So I drive the 15 miles back in to town with my 6 month old baby in tow. I explain to her that I have contacts missing and she takes both my old phone and my new phone and messes with them for a while then tries to hook them to their machine but still no luck. Then the other gentlemen working tries to help her and mentions that my old phone only has 60 contacts on it. Ummm what!? It should have almost 200. You could see in her eyes that she was panicking. She wouldn’t allow him to help her whenever he offered advice. At this point I had been in the store for over 3 hours with my baby and now missing contacts on my orginal phone that she had no right to mess with in the first place. Strike 2. I finally said I want to return this phone and cancel this service. That obviously motivated her finally! So she got on the phone to Apple and wasted even more of my time trying to upload my contacts on my new phone instead of fixing my old phone that she should have never messed with in the first place. All while my poor baby is fussy because he’s had to wait all day for this incompetent woman to do nothing helpful at all. She finally got my contacts on the new phone and I wasn’t about to wait around for her to get them on my old phone so I wrote down how to do it and went home. When I got home and tried to get my contacts on my old phone they were still missing. Then I went to upload them from my gmail where I had backed them up in case this ever happened and guess what... they were all gone! All of our business emails and contacts deleted. Strike 3! I called my original carrier and they were able to help me get my contacts back on my old phone but no one was able to help retrieve all the missing email addresses and contacts in my gmail. When I spoke with US cellular customer service they were shocked that she had messed with my old phone and that she should have never done that and I should speak with the manager when I return my phone. When I went in to return my phone the gentleman that was there was wonderful and super understanding and informed me that the gal I dealt with was the manager. So I guess speaking to the manager won’t do any good when the manager is extremely incompetent. Overall an awful experience.    Read moreI went into the US cellular store at approximately 6:50 PM. The store closes at 7 PM and I knew that. I was in distress and I asked the girl who was working if she could please help me set up my Apple ID on my new iPhone , and told her that I just switched from an android phone to an iPhone. at first, she acted willing to help, but I continued on to explain to her that I was a boost mobile customer and she repeated it back to me and said you were a boost mobile customer. We do not help customers that are not US cellular customers and it is 6:55 and we close at seven! I was very upset and I left the store and I did not think about getting her name, but she was extremely rude and I will never go back to US cellular! The fact that she was unwilling to help me and was so rude about who my carrier was was shocking. Also would like to add that I immediately went next-door to T-Mobile and found Josh who works there and he was very willing to help me and between him and his coworker even though it did take a few minutes longer than they were even open they were able to assist me and my problem was solved so I highly recommend T-Mobile especially over US...

My dad and I have come in and received some if the worst customer service from other store reps trying to sell my Dad something he doesn’t need. DAREK was honest and I felt that I could trust him to really help my dad rather than take advantage of him.
