Was disorganized the person playing the mouse definitely had no interest in being around the children the games are no longer very good or very playable for children and the prizes are for the most part quarter machine gifts . The tickets are easily lost which takes the fun out of earning them like what the heck. Its supposed to be amazing experience for children but you can lose the tickets your earning as you play leaving hardly any won in the first place then the physical tickets and coins are no longer a thing that was the best part watching tickets pop out the machine and counting them as you won. I mean they enjoyed it but it's nothing like the previous time I took my children I feel like this time was more of a waste of money then anything the last time I took them to the Springfield location my children had an experience they will never forget this time we may as well went to the bowling alley and paid triple the cost. I don't know how to rate it fairly because of this . It wasn't horrible but it wasn't something we will return for. However our waiter did try his best.... He did as well as he could and so did the lady working however others there seemed to be there just for a paycheck and that's not very "magical" so I personally feel they need to be more selective in who they choose to employ and have those that want to see the wonderment on a child's face not just be there for a paycheck as it ruins it to a degree. Maybe they was just having a down day though idk . Trying to be fair so I give it the stars I can for the ones that were trying to make it...
Read moreThey definitely remodeled it since the last time I was there. That helped a lot cause it does look so much better. It looks like they got more games and some newer games. My daughters had a blast. They have a point system to play, or you can pay by the amount of time. We bought points, and so each kid had 60 points to spend. We were there for several hours just trying to use all our points, I really thought it would only take an hour, maybe 2. We stayed for 3 hours at least because each game ranges from 1 point to 3 points. Well worth the money. The food was OK, not bad, but obviously, there are better pizza places. The service was awesome. The gentleman and lady that was there serving us had great customer service, super nice, super generous. The manager gave us a few free passes to some of the games. It was slightly pricey, but not as much as Incredible Pizza, and it was well worth the money. As a mother, it was also cool that the place was big enough to not be right on top of people, but small enough to where I didn't have to run around after my kids. I was able to see them from across the room...
Read moreThis location recently got remodeled. I really love Chuck E. Cheese and especially of all, their animatronic characters. It was real shame they took my childhood away from me, and not only that, destroyed and dismantled the star himself, Chuck E. Cheese. It was a real sad sight. Even though the location, now, is bland as can be, the food is great as ever, game are great, and the service and staff are really nice and incredible (props)! Please bring back the animatronic please. I'm a 15 year old freshmen that is striving for nostalgia. On the bright side, Springfield, IL has some time left. Mr. Big Cheese himself, if your hearing this, please, reconsider your actions, don't let anymore of your friend get destroyed. I realize were among the new generation of kids, and I realize times have changed, but the animatronics was what made Chuck E. Cheese, Chuck E. Cheese. The animatronics have been with the brand since DAY 1! We got to rise up and make it stay that way! Thanks...
