mo' bettah pizza — Restaurant in Emerald Isle

When I ordered this I was unaware that I was picking it up from the gas station.(I googled nearest pizza place and this was the closest one, placed order THEN typed in directions 😅)

BUT PLEASE DONT let that stop you.

We ended up ordering a southern spicy peach 6pc JUMBO wings and we got a hand tossed pepperoni mushroom jalapeño add hot honey with instructions to cook Our pizza well done.

The pizza was amazing. Definitely a 8.5/10 The sauce is a bit on the sweet side not as tomato-e ya know? But the saltiness of the cheese helps.

Now the wings….they were DELICIOUS. 9/10 The sweetness of the peach works well with the heat definitely feels barbecue based. They were perfectly,crispy ,perfectly seasoned and cooked amazingly.

All in all yes it’s a gas station. But you can’t beat getting a 6 pack and some great food. Also the store lady is super nice. From a pizza lover to another go get ya...

Was staying in Emerald Isle for the week. Tried takeout from here based on reviews. Our experience wasn’t as good as most other past reviews. Pizza took about 20 minutes longer than estimated based on feedback when ordered. Not a huge deal but would be good to update estimates on website to avoid extra waiting by customers in future. Also, pizza was just ok. Ordered buffalo chicken and margarita pizzas. Margarita pizza was a little different than most margarita pizzas we’ve had in the past and not for the better. Buffalo chicken was just ok. Crusts on both pizzas were fairly thin and didn’t seem like good value for the price paid. Wait... This Is a Gas Station?

I placed a pickup order after hearing a few people talk about this place, but nothing prepared me for pulling into a gas station and wondering if I’d gone to the wrong spot. I actually double-checked the address a few times.

But sure enough, tucked inside was a little pizza counter cranking out absolute magic. I walked in expecting something average. What I left with was one of the best pies I’ve had in a long time. The crust was perfectly crisp, the cheese was legit, and every bite was like a little reminder not to judge a book, or a pizza by its gas station cover.
