This is less a review of this specific chipotle than it is a review of chipotle as a whole, mainly their quesadillas. Chipotle has quesadillas now. Why? Qdobas quesadilla that they've had forever is better in every way. When I get to the counter I ask, "can I put sofritas in a quesadilla?" both employees say no, a manager corrects them and says yes. So they do put a portion much less than I would have got in a burrito in there. Then the employee asks if I want cheese in it. Which of course I do its a quesadilla. All that is fine for the employees. It's a new item and I'm sure nobody gets it. But then, the employee asks if I want anything else in it. I ask to put corn salsa in it. Apparently that's not allowed. Qdoba let's you put whatever you want in quesadillas. So I say fine. Then the register worker asks if I want anything on the side to dip it in. I ask for guac and corn salsa. Apparently guac is still extra even though I'm paying burrito price for like 40% of the food of a burrito. So I ask for corn and hot. The original employee asks "on the side?" We just went over this. I wanted it inside but now on the side is the only option. So they put it all in a weird, little tray. Now I'm home eating it. I'm not joking it's not even half the size of what you get at qdoba. Also the corn I wanted inside is now just a side dish as there's no way to scoop up corn with a quesadilla. On top of that I wanted a few more things in there that I couldn't add to the picture at all because you only get 2 sides. So in short: it's so small it's hilarious, you can't put hardly anything in it, guac somehow still costs extra with this even though the price is the same as a much larger burrito or bowl for half a meal worth of food, the container is bizzare and not helpful, and in case I didn't mention it you will still be hungry after eating it. None of these problems exist with Qdobas burrito. Not even close. They have free toppings wherever you want em. Free guac and queso. Twice as much food at bare minimum. If you made it to the end of this I hope you're a higher up at chipotle. Your quesadillas are a huge failure. I'd be surprised if even 1 person has ordered one more than once. Again nothing against this specific chipotle they did fine.
The photo is after eating 1 of the 2 sections of quesadilla. At Qdoba you get 4 this size. And whatever you want on it for no additional charge. Chipotle people tell me how I'm supposed to get that corn in my mouth using...
Read moreWent in on 3/24/25 shortly after 3pm, ordered a bowl, the lady in front of me asked for a bit more chicken on her bowl because the person serving was not putting much on. Without hesitation or questions asked, he gave her about another half spoon of chicken. It's my turn and he does the same, doesn't serve 4oz of chicken as is procedure, I ask for a bit more chicken and without hesitation tells me "I'll have to charge you double protein if I give you more". Again, he gladly did it for the person in front of me (a white lady), but immediately refused for me (a brown person). I have have heard but never actually witnessed this happening to other people due to the current political climate but I have NEVER actually witnessed it myself, let alone had it happen to me. Most of the staff is usually nice, friendly and accommodating but Travis made me want to drive back, give them their food back and never come back to this location because of that disgusting show of preference/pick and choose/unprofessionalism/ disrespect and flat out (dare I say?) Flat out racism, call it that or not, I don't know what else to call that, white lady gets what she asked for without hesitation, brown man is immediately and also without hesitation told "I'll have to charge you double" everyone else was very kind and professional. If I didn't need to start my last job of the day and had the time to get my money back and go somewhere else for my lunch, I would have gladly driven back, told them to keep their food and give me my money back. I'm a regular here, I eat here 2, sometimes 3 times a week. I filed a complaint with corporate and I guess we will see what happens. Time to go elsewhere unfortunately. One word......
Read moreCame in at 12:30 on Sat Feb 24th. The first employee that we saw, a young lady, asked the same question 3 or 4 times and still almost out the wrong ingredient in on both of our burritos. Gave us ripped tortillas that weren't able to be used when wrapping came and she ignored the young man asking for another tortilla so he could wrap them. The young man also put wrong ingredients in and did a shotty job of wrapping the burritos to the point where they both fell apart and were basically a bowl with a tortilla on top. I asked for chicken AND fajita veggies they gave me a very small amount of both instead of full amounts of both and charging me extra like I wanted. It felt very half assed and like they didn't care at all, like that it was just an incovience for them to do their job. The young man seemed to be frustrated with the young lady, I got the vibe that she's been messing up all day and he's been dealing with it. I worked at illegal Pete's and we were trained that wrapping the burrito perfectly every time is the most important part, and getting all the ingredients right. Care about the customers a little bit more than going on break because it shows when you don't want to be at work or if you don't care about your job. Won't be coming back, very...
