The drive through was backed up and stopped. For a long long time. So we decided to go in. There was 12 customers waiting after we placed our orders for 37 minutes without exaggerating.
Finally, the drive through cleared out six lines and no one inside was served.
Uber got served. One dine in customer got served.
The manager was clearing out the tickets off the computer system for inside orders so they don't get negative counts in their metrics. Clearing the dining room tickets. For 45 minutes.
So I approached the cashier and explained that the drive through had cleared out six times and no one inside has been served in that time. I would like to go outside and get my order.
I know their priority.
The manager said, "the drive through is our only priority right now " There was a full staff of employees working. Every task in the kitchen was covered by an employee. And I observed as a new employee came in for her shift too.
Yes I know .. the dining room hasn't moved and these poor people have been here waiting while you serve their items out the window.
Then she proceeded to thank everyone, with a fake smile, for having patience as their food was getting served to drive through customers. We know she cleared out the orders, we watched her do it. We watched piles of food get on the prep table. And we watched the drive through wrap around the building six times.
She gave us a refund and then proceeded to thank everyone again with her fake smile while they stood there in disbelief, still, without food knowing what just happened to them.
They can't clear the card from the drive through while they are in queue so their focus was only on the cars, unfortunately for those people who kindly, quietly stood their disappointed and hungry waiting to get on...
Read morelast week i went thru the drive thru placed my order and paid for my order that took a total of 20 minutes once i got to the second window i was told to pull forward and wait for my food, so after 20 minute wait i had to pull forward to allow the cars behind me to get their food WELLLLL lets see the car behind me was there just as long as i was and i recorded them handing a bag out to the car where the driver handed it right back to the employee. then this MANAGER allowed an elderly employee to go outside ALONE at midnight to hand me my order ( this is located right next to a hotel that is famous for drugs so someones mother / grandmother was allowed to go outside alone) once i got my order i asked the lady for the managers number when she returned with it it she asked me if i had my order i said NO you handed me the wrong order she went back inside with the wrong food handed it to the counter gal who was more worried about what was going on with the guy in the back, she then tried to had that bag to the car behind me i had to get out of my car and tell the car behind me that they just handed them the bag that i had then they came out with the bag they tried to hand off to the car behind be. needless to say when i got home everything was cold, missing, and i was not going to eat it since it was in someones car. i called for the manager and was told they would text the manager and a week later i still have not heard back from them i'm not after free food I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN i'm more concerned how they would allow a lady to go outside alone! BTW they guy that takes your money, hates his job and seen my uniform and told me how much he hates his job how he wants out of...
Read moreUpdate 2 Oct 12, 2017 : WORST SERVICE EVER TODAY. Waited about 7 minutes to place my order small order, then about 20 minutes to get it! Only one person working the counter and she spent most of her time working on drive thru orders. New buttermilk tenders I ordered were only warm when I got them. I had to ask for the fries that were part of my order. The ketchup dispenser was out of ketchup so I went to the counter and told the lady. She said ok and walked away! I had to ask her again to give me some packets! The current employees at this location are not concerned about the customer. This location has gone down hill significantly over the last year. Update : ordered some mozzarella sticks and they were HOLLOW! All the cheese had been melted out, presumably into the fryer oil, or they were reheated in a microwave or something. In any case, NOT GOOD! I deducted a star, and will again if the quality of the food continues to decline. Take heed McDonald's! This is MCDONALD'S folks, not some 4 star restaurant. This one is better than most. This location by the highway gets LOTS of business, but it is always reasonably quick to get your food. It is also usually clean. Trash cans emptied regularly. Tables wiped down at reasonable intervals. Occasionally you'll get a new employee that doesn't know what they are doing, but what do you expect?...
