I am absolutely floored by how quaint and well-organized this tea room is on OPENING DAY. Upon arriving, we were given the (lengthy & well stocked) tea list to look over - they allowed us enough time to properly choose our first selections for tea, without the pressure of anyone hovering for an answer.

Drinks - I selected the Cream Earl Grey, and my companion ordered Jasmine With Flower. We both enjoyed them thoroughly, and were delighted to find out we could switch the type of tea as many times as we liked (though we only tried two each). For the second round of tea, I had the Scottish Caramel Pu-Erh - which I HIGHLY recommend. It is hearty, with the strength and smoky quality of Pu-Erh and the sweet of the caramel rounded it out perfectly - with it without milk and sugar.

Food - THANK YOU CHEF JADE!!!!!!! My companion is unable to consume dairy products, so chef Jade created two desserts specifically for us that contained no dairy - which were amazingly well done, I would NEVER have guessed they weren’t ordinarily on the menu. She brought them to our table herself, and described what each was as well as what ingredients were used in place of dairy - such care and detail definitely did not go unnoticed. The finger sandwiches were exactly as expected, delicious and perfect sized; the scones a wonderful flavour selection (and my companion was given plant butter in place of clotted cream). We were given just the right amount of food for a comfortable full that you desire with High/Afternoon Tea, I am absolutely amazed.

Thank you Daisy for this wonderful experience before I leave Colorado - I will definitely be back...

We were looking forward to visiting this magnificent looking teahouse on Sunday, 2/16. As it is during the winter season, we made sure to check the hours on google and their website, as we know things can get funky. We were excited to see that they had a month-long offering for Valentine's Tea, and that they said they had open hours on Sunday.

We were unfortunately disappointed to find out that the shop owner just decided to not open that day. It was rather surprising, as this was Valentine's weekend, while they were actively promoting a Valentine's Tea sitting.

As they are happy to state elsewhere that they "are local", I suppose it would be reasonable to let potential customers know when the shop is going to be closed during posted hours by posting a sign at the close of the previous day they were in the shop. Instead, it seems like you have to be a local to pick a random day to show up and see if they are open.

We were really excited to visit this shop. Now, we will never come here. I am glad the owner is successful enough to afford to pay their bills year round with part time work. It makes the "we're local, times are slow, you understand" trope difficult to stomach, though.

ETA: "We never have enough foot traffic on Sunday in winter."

Ok. Don't have hours posted then that states you are open on Sundays. Don't open on Sunday. Or, post a sign or a note or do something proactive instead of complaining about your upset potential customers. I completely understand that this is a business decision.

I am upset that the business has an inability to communicate or properly set expectations for...

I am visiting my friend from College who lives in Denver Colorado. I’m from Midwest Indiana. I have never been to the mountains and my friend wanted to take me to Rocky Mountain National Park! Amazing views. We were hungry on our drive down and stumbled upon this tea room. Wow was it amazing! The food was good. I got the ham and fig jam panini and my friend had the caprese panini. They were both so yummy!! The real reason we stopped here is because we both have a love for tea. And WOW did this place have lots of teas to choose from. We ordered the tea sampler. It was three tea samples for $9.99. It was a great option because I wanted to try so many teas. The restaurant was small but very cute inside. It was clean and the owners were very friendly and kind. The kitchen staff as well. We finished up our meal with some of their scones of the day. Todays flavor was orange cream and WOW were those yummy! A nice way to end our meal. A little desert. ALSO if you love tea and want to buy some of their teas ask them about their tea store. They have a tea store with all of their flavors just a few blocks away! And if you bring one of their flyers you get 10% off your purchase at the store and a free cup of tea!!! We went to the store and bought lots of teas to...
