At The Dining Room you are invited to forget about homeless struggles and join humanity for a little time. You get served a lovely meal with dignity and a smile along with 2 drinks, a cloth napkin and real silverware. And the best part.. for a little ambiance, theres always local musician with a guitar serenading the patrons with delightful tunes youre sure to remember and enjoy. Now for the coup d' gras.. its totally paid by donations. Its a sweet break from survival mode And a welcome one! My appreciation and thankfullness from my soul goes to these selfless and genuine sincere workers straight from the throne! They are truly our keepers and gifts from above. When I was initially asked if I wanted water along with my orange juice, I confirmed that I did. However, the water was never brought to me. When I inquired about it, simply asking why the water had not been provided, I was referred to in a dismissive manner as "booth." This interaction felt both disrespectful and frustrating, overshadowing the positive aspects of the organization’s mission. It is essential for such services to handle all interactions with respect and professionalism to truly uphold their commitment to serving the community. The dining room provides hot meals 4 days a week, 12-3 Mon thru Thurs to any one that's in need of a delicious healthy meal. The homeless community us their primary demographic, but many retires are among the regular guests . There is table service, cloth napkins, often a lone musician plying his instrument with delightful melodies.
