Edit: It seems that our trips here will either be amazing or terrible with nothing in between. We keep coming because when they're on, they are ON but when they're off, everything's WAY OFF (like semi-raw potatoes and overly salted food...) Below is a amazing trip we had: I’ve been going to First Watch in Euless off and on for awhile, about 5-6 times a year. I’ve met colleagues for meetings here, former co-workers for brunch and lunch, and gone to breakfast with my family. The food is always great, prices are competitive, and ingredients are fresh- especially the seasonal additions to the normal menu. My latest trip here was for breakfast with my family to celebrate a birthday. My daughter had the chocolate chip pancake from the kid’s menu (which was bigger than my head) with bacon. The only downside was that they didn’t have turkey bacon (her favorite) so she went with regular bacon. My husband ordered the Cajun shrimp & grits from the spring seasonal menu while I had the traditional breakfast. The shrimp was large and perfectly cooked and the grits were buttery and creamy. I was glad his dish was not overly seasoned like most Cajun dishes are. My traditional breakfast came with scrambled eggs, multigrain toast w/butter, fresh preserves, chicken sausage patties, and griddle potatoes. The potatoes were a bit too salty for my liking but everything else was great, especially the chicken sausage- I’m glad I chose to substitute it b/c the blend of spices was wonderfully mild. We ordered a couple of other things from the spring menu for the table to try. The first was the seasonal juice l but I can’t remember the name. It was a blend of springtime fruit juices including mango and lime and was really good. The second was the Hawaiian French Toast that was incredible! It was made from challah bread with seared pineapples, topped with whipped cream and drizzled with a brown sugar/caramel-like glaze. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers but ate to our fill. All in all, it was a successful trip and I look forward to visiting again in a few months.

Located in the newly opened Glade Parks complex in Euless, this kitschy eatery specializes in breakfast and lunch. The space is clean and nicely appointed and the menu offers a good selection of various breakfast foods including eggs, bowls, pancakes and omelettes. I was greeted with an opened door by a hostess who welcomed me. Since I like to experience the basics on a first visit I ordered the Tri-fecta which included eggs, a protein, and a pancake or waffle. I opted for the banana granola crunch pancake and pork sausage along with over-medium eggs. When the plate came out my eyes popped a bit at the size of the pancake! Rather than being topped with the add-one, the banana crunch goodness was mixed into the batter with slices of banana creating a polka-dot ring around the pancake. Eggs were cooked as ordered and the sausage was plump and flavorful. When I picked up the syrup, I immediately noticed that the bottle was warm! Nice touch! My server Natalie was warm and attentive. I've never been the 4th review of any place, but if this is how things are starting out, I hope they continue to provide what I experienced today and look forward to trying other dishes on the menu soon! *Apparently they have other locations locally so they've clearly put together a successful formula that they are replicating. This location has only been open for over a week.

First Watch has a great healthy but country breakfast atmosphere. A sit down breakfast joint with really good food. In spite of a few issues the manager handled everything very very well and I would not expect the same thing to happen again. A large menu with a plethora of items to choose. From breakfast tacos to power quinoa bowls. There are a lot of options. At this one they were great to accommodate our larger group of 10. While the wait staff was very friendly the Initial service was really slow. Getting to coffee and waters and ordering took well over 30 minutes and I’m really not sure why. To be fair other tables were greeted and orders taken much quicker so this may be an anomaly. Food came out relatively quickly but there was a mixup on 3 of our tables orders. breakfast tacos (savory) and Floridian French toast (sweet treat) were absolutely delicious. The kids loved there chocolate chip pancakes Overall I have been to a few of these across the country and they are very good. This one seems like a really good one despite our unique experience getting started and a few mixups in the kitchen. The food for everyone was really really good. Overall 4 out of 5 and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I went to this First Watch this morning with a group of 6, and had a really negative experience. Our server was very rushed and would leave the table before we could finish requesting items. She greeted us by asking if we wanted coffee. When two of us answered yes, she began to walk off without getting the rest of the table’s drink orders. When they requested water, she ran off again without allowing anyone to order any specialty drinks. It took 3 trips before we were all able to get our drink orders in. This was not due to our lack of preparedness, but rather due to our server seemingly running away from our table. Additionally, our food took at least 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. While we waited, the server did not approach our table once to refill waters or coffee. We eventually had to wave our coffee pot in the air to get her to approach our table. When the food came out, two of us were given meals that were entirely different than what we ordered. I sent my meal back, while my friend chose to eat what she was brought. The server apologized (which was appreciated) and told me my sandwich would be out soon. The server stopped by the table 3 times in a span of 25 minutes to tell me the sandwich was on its way. Finally, she stopped by a final time to say that there was “no ETA on the sandwich” and did want to “just cancel the order”. Ultimately, after being in the restaurant for nearly two hours with no food, that’s what I chose to do. I was obviously not charged for the meal, but I was extremely dissatisfied with the level of service. I understand having off days, but the wait times and lack of attentiveness was frustrating (and I...

Bar none the single worst dining experience of the year so far. This is our second trip, and it's even worse than the first. Waited for over an hour to get to he text to get our table... Ok it was a Saturday morning so we expected some wait... But after the hour we went the the front and asked what our place in line was or how long it would be, and they said they could take us now!!! Never got a text so don't count on that system working. The menu is diverse and the family I was with really likes quinoa. They have breakfast options for them, so that's great... I did not find any oatmeal or anything different than what I had last time so ordered a side place so I hade something in front of me. 1 hour and 13 minutes that is correct over 2 hours here we finally got our food. Not our drinks mind you just our food. Wait staff never checked on us... We had to stop one and ask them for the Tobasco which they hide in the he back I guess because every table near us only had cahoula. So they enjoyed their food... But complained about the experience over the meal. I mean that is ALL we discussed over the breakfast which we enjoyed around lunch time. If you hire food is your thing it's great... But expect to WAIT and expect service Dennys would fire people for. I hope they read this an improve... I hope I never have to go here again to find out if they have improved....
