We went to this place on the day before Father's Day. I Enjoyed the service that I generally receive and I have spent a significant amount of money at the place, so my family decided to take me there on Saturday night to have a meal. We got there about 9:45 ordered our food and received our food about 10 o'clock. The place was closing at 10:00. At 10:32 one of them employees came out and told us they were close and we needed to leave because they had to go home. I was rather appalled because There was another group of people present that they asked to leave, and I managed a restaurant and we never asked a paying customer to leave the establishment after we closed. The person who told us we had to leave sarcastically told us that " they had to leave too" I did let him know that that was rather inappropriate since I was spending a significant amount of money. I let them know that they are open till 10 o'clock and that means they need to take care of the people that come at 9:59 until they are satisfied.I will follow up with a management person tomorrow about this incident. Read moreWish I could comment on the burgers or drinks, but never got the chance to try them. I went inside, one of the workers greeted me, I stated I was going to sit at the bar. She said I would receive the same full service there and to enjoy. I sat right next to the register at the bar. The bartender came by, entered a few things on the register, never made eye contact with me, then walked off. She returned, helped people on the other side, and left again. I watched some TV and returned text messages while I waited. Another customer arrives, sits to my right. The bartender greeted her, and she picked up an online order. A few minutes later, another customer arrived to my left. Right away he was greeted and asked for his drink order. At this point, I realized I was sitting there for at least 20 minutes, so I got up and left. Not one "hello", "would you like something to drink", nothing. Even if my eyes were down on my phone IF the bartender happened to look my way, shouldn't the establishment try to sell me on their product and reach out to me? Read moreOrdered online, no clear designation on where to pick up. I kind of awkwardly stood beside the line of people in front of the bar, squeezed through to ask to pick up the order. Took awhile for the bartender and expo guy to bag it up, so I'm thinking it was gonna be hot and fresh. Got home, the Sweet Carolina burger was in fact very salty and very tough. The classic bison burger was good and juicy. The other two burgers we got were ok. We ordered the truffle fries and the green chili queso fries. We got what tasted like 5 hour old shoestrings. Also no green chili queso. Bummer. Along with the cardboard potatoes, the side salad was bagged with all the hot food, I'm assuming this is why it was warm and wilted. It's alright though, because the dressing was AWFUL. Can't quite come up with an appropriate adjective for the taste left in the mouth after that.
Called the manager on duty, just to give feedback. She began to tell me she was concerned that she wont be able to refund us our money for the meal, because they had been having issues with the internet today. Not that she would have been able to refund anyway, since she failed to even ask for the name on the order.
