Changing my review as I decided to stop by again a couple of times and the difference both in product and service was abismal.
The young man made a really nice cup of strawberries and listen to what I asked , which is not out of the norm, just go lighter on the chocolate . He did . Asked for extra Ku Ada even if extra charge. He did no complaints or rudeness like the previous experience.
Strawberries were fresh and cold this time. Chocolate mix suggested by another customer last time seems to work well.
Glad you changed the service person. I really enjoyed my cups these past visits.
Review towards service: the attitude of your cashier just sucks. First time visitor and while my questions as a first time customer might have sounded stupid to her she did not even bother to offer a suggestion or her knowledge on the product. Short to rolling her eyes at me she turned around and asked the younger clueless guy about his opinion on my question. How sweet is your milk chocolate ? Excuse but there are places where the chocolate is extremely unbereable sweet.
None of them have a suggestion so I went with the obvious. Second later another customer walks in and asks for the same thing but a mix of dark and milk chocolate. Couldn’t the annoyed clerk suggested that ? Of course she didn’t even offer .
I asked the third clerk to give me sample of the milk chocolate and she kindly did. That girl will be the sole reason I won’t come back also there were no other customer it’s was empty when I walked in. No excuses for poor customer service no rush, no long queues, just an annoyed person.
Product: chocolate is ok, strawberries could be colder. For a $15 dll cup and bad service I will def go somewhere else lose next time.
Review changed to one : the dessert was not enjoyable due to the excessive amount of chocolate little of the free pistachio stuff and little of the crispy wafers. They were running low when I got there and were skimping on it. Tried to see the sirlverliming and it is not not spend my money...
Read moreI have driven past this place several times, but never had the opportunity to stop on in. But, today it was different. As soon as we walked in we were promptly greeted by Mr. Vardy, with a warm smile and ready to serve. He told us that that they make their gelato in house as well as the other goodies, i.e. cookies etc. He answered all our questions and gave us samples and they were good. We got a small cup which consisted of two flavors or or choosing, a medium cup of three flavors and waffle cone with two flavors. We got the the strawberry and lemon sorbet, small cup, waffle cone gran cafe and stracciatella and salted caramel, pistachio lemon curd, and Carmel pecan brownie. All the flavors complimented each other and were very creamy and tasty. This place is a hidden gem and very nice. If you're in this neck of the woods come and treat yourself to some delicious gelato, Mr. Vardy is ready to serve you up a scoop or two. As a side note they do also serve hot/cold coffees as well as teas. Why are you just sitting there? C'mon you know that you wanna experience these great flavors....
Read moreThis newer Gelato shop was our victim for my birthday desert tonight. I came here tonight with my dad and it was a wonderful experience. From the lovely customer service, to the unique culturally inspired gelato flavors, there was a treat for every niche in here. They have cookies, chocolates, espressos, teas and more! I ordered a small Caramel Cheesecake, and let me say how balanced the texture and flavor was! My dad got the Gran Cafe - rich espresso with biscotti chunks in there! Basically an elevated affogato as a gelato. We sat for an hour eating the creamy goodness and played chess! Yep-each table had a game that the guests could enjoy; Uno, Jenga, etc. The treat was so good I had to bring home some to my mom too (she picked the Strawberry Sorbet) and she loved it too. Thanks Tifa Chocolate and Gelato for a great...
