Worst experience I’ve had at IHOP! Came here to enjoy our day off. The waiter was nice and tried to be very helpful. He kept apologizing for the wait and explained that there were 2 big parties and that kitchen was a bit slow. We acknowledged this and proceeded to wait for our food. The first thing that threw me off was the Sprite soda and I asked my husband to taste it because it tasted like a hint of Dr. Pepper. He agreed, but I didnt say anything since it wasn’t a huge problem. We still waited about 30 minutes to get our food and what got me really upset and frustrated was that my son’s omelette came out and didn’t come with the fried potatoes that he asked for which I thought would come out in a bit. After my son finished his omelet about 10 minutes later my husband’s bacon cheeseburger came out and looked super sad like it had been sitting there and had no cheese. The waiter apologized and said that the rest of the order was still not ready and would be done soon. By then I was really annoyed so I went to the waiter and asked him to take everything, but the omelette that my son ate from the ticket. He said ok and brought back the check still trying to charge me for the burger(which we didn’t touch) drinks and omelette totaling 40 bucks?! I went to the manager and explained that we weren’t going to wait for every item to come out separate and that we didn’t eat the burger. He started arguing with me saying that if there isn’t something wrong with the quality of the product he couldn’t take it off! I told him that I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 15 years and yes there was a problem with the quality of service. I ended up leaving still paying 30 bucks! Ridiculous! Never coming here again! If you want good service and management go to the 6240 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst,...
Read moreI live in Euless and have frequented this IHOP on numerous occasions with average experiences. However, my latest experience will keep me from coming ever again. I was sick one morning and ordered an Uber Eats order from IHOP. I ordered about $40 worth of food for me and the kids. Hash browns. Omelets. Cupcake pancakes, the works. They charged me up front, of course. I placed the order at 9am. Around 10am, the uber eats driver shows up with half of the order. Hash browns, 3 different kinds of pancakes, did not arrive. Husband calls the IHOP location three times, they never answered. He finally goes and drives to the restaurant, leaving my sick self with our two kids. He explains to the manager what happens, they say they're busy and will remake the order. Meanwhile, we are waiting on daddy to come back to start our meal. An hour and a half after ordering, the kids start crying because they're hungry and want their cupcake pancakes. Husband is still at the IHOP where the manager is HIDING FROM HIM IN THE KITCHEN. He talks to various staff trying to rectify this situation. After over two hours from placing the order and being charged, he comes home with the food. The manager at this location does not apologize and hid from my husband. All of the food is cold and ruined, and I payed a delivery charge for nothing. Uber Eats blamed IHOP, and IHOP blamed Uber Eats. I'm most disgusted with the management at this location acting like babies, and when I wrote to corporate asking for my money back they said, "sorry. We talked to the GM and we will work on it" with no money back.
We will be ordering our breakfast elsewhere based on IHOPs response to this event. Unacceptable,...
Read morePancakes anyone??? First, let me say I was diagnosed with Gluten Intolerance back in 2009 or 2010. Gluten Intolerance is one step short of Celiac Disease, which means anything with wheat or wheat flour makes you sick. AKA. IHOP isn't a good option since pancakes, waffles, French toast, any toast is made from flour. Therefore I have not been to IHOP in years.
So after a miracle surgery, I no longer suffer from Gluten Intolerance. And after almost two months of liquid diet and so forth, I wanted pancakes! So my tolerant and understanding hubby and son took me to IHOP for dinnertime pancakes.
We all had breakfast for dinner. My hubby had a great dinner with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes.Being the loving hubby he is, he shared a couple bites of hashbrowns with me. IHOP really does GREAT hashbrowns! Crispy on the outside and soft on the outside...
TIP: Due to Covid, syrup must be ordered, but they still have all the favorites - blueberry, strawberry, butter pecan, and maple.
My son enjoyed a similar meal, but with Cupcake pancakes. It is a stack of four buttermilk pancakes with a powdered sugar frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and whipped cream. It is a feast for your eyes as well as your stomach.
Me? Well I ordered from the children's menu: The Silver 55 or something like that. It comes with one egg cooked to order, one slice of bacon, and 5 silver dollar buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were delicious - light and fluffy - the egg fresh, and the bacon was surprisingly tasty because it wasn't too salty.
The staff was sparse, but they worked doubly hard to keep everyone happy, all while smiling and making everyone feel special. Definitely...
