I haven't ever been annoyed enough to write a bad review. This experience is definitely one that has caused me to pull out my laptop and leave one. We went through the drive thru to order a lunch for myself, my grandmother, along with my 3 year old, and 1 year old. We are handed our sealed bag and head 20 minutes home. (We both raved about the kind customer service displayed by the young woman that took our order). When we get home to enjoy our lunch before the kids' naps, we are surprised to learn that both of our sandwiches are missing from the sealed bag. Upon calling the store to speak with the manager, who seemed very empathetic and distraught over the incident, we were advised that we could drive back to pick up the sandwiches. 45 minutes later, we have the sandwiches back home. Both of us were annoyed, but pleased that we were about to be able to eat the delicious steak and cheese sandwiches that we were looking forward to all day. (and they threw in 2 cookies for the trouble, so that was nice). But then I unwrapped my sandwich and was disappointed even more by the fact that the sandwiches were DEFINITELY not worth the drive back to the store. Pictures of the sandwiches are attached. 1- The bread was burnt to the state of a small rock due to the fact that the sandwiches probably set underneath a heat lamp the entire time. 2- the horseradish was in a single glob on the bread, one bite nearly burnt my nose hairs off. 3- the meat was the texture of a dog treat.
Needless to say, I will not be back to this location (or any of their drive thru's). Panera Bread--you are better than this. Get...
Read moreAfter arriving home realized take out order was shorted a cup of soup. Immediately called this locations General Manager, Patrick, and he told me to come back in and he would, and I quote "replace", the soup. You can't replace what you never provided. It is raining heavily and I mentioned the inconvenience, he told me he would provide a comp for my trouble. When I got back to the restaurant he brought me the soup, but did not provide anything tangible like refunding the cost of the cup of soup or taking my name for a future visit. When I mentioned this he raised his voice and while beating his fist on his chest he loudly said "I am a man of my word" several times. I told him that I was going to contact corporate about how this was handled and he again loudly said, "Oh, let me get you the number". As I turned to walk out every customer in the place was looking at us. By the way this was my second purchase of the day. I had taken my mother to the doctor that morning and went through the drive-thru at another location to get her soup for tonight. So in total I spent over $72 today with Panera Bread. I was astounded that a general manager would behave the way did. I have attached my receipt from tonight. The one from earlier today is at my mothers home. When I called corporate they were able to see both transactions in my loyalty program account. They still offered nothing but an apology. All is not lost, because it has made me think really hard about how I can treat my customers and associates with greater consideration and kindness. I will go to the other location when I can and...
Read moreI love Panera Bread and actually order food from there once or twice per week. This location has the slowest and thoughtless service I’ve experienced at any. They frequently forget to give me a pickle, they run out of avocado, they burn the bread and sometimes fix sandwiches with the smallest portion of the bread as can be. I have gotten to the point that I actually asked for my pickle separate from my sandwich, that way I can quickly conform actually having one before leaving the drive through. I also like honey in my coffee, which is a healthier sweetener as opposed to sugar, but they no longer order the packets at this location. They actually have to squeeze you some out of the bottle in their kitchen. The worst part is every drive thru order takes about 5 minutes!!! They obviously they utilize any type of time tracker for drive thru orders. If there are cars ahead of you, prepare to wait 10-15 minutes PLUS for a sandwich or cup of coffee. I went on Saturday morning and there was no one in front of me & my order. I simply ordered a cup of coffee and literally sat at the window waiting for 8 minutes. I wonder if the grind the beans and brew the coffee per order, very ridiculous. The good part is..... a new Panera Bread just opened over on Trinity & 360, which is the same distant from my house. That new location combined with the one by my job in Las Colinas makes me happy at Panera Bread and continuing to order from them at least twice a week. Just won’t be visiting this...
