Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Everett

This was the first time I have been back to this restraunt since I believe 2002. When I went there previously, there was hair found in my food and they didnt reimburse me for the price of my meal. I told them I would never go back. Last night, I was there on a date. I wouldn't have gone there on my own. We ordered a 2 for $27. My date got the half rack with fries and a baked potato with sour cream and cheese. I got the 8 oz steak well done, green beans and mashed potatoes. The sour cream and cheese were extra. We ordered mozzarella sticks as the appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were good the ranch and marinara made them better. My date got a Coronita ( A margarita with a little Corona beer, he ordered a mango margarita) We were there during happy hour so he ordered another drink for $6 and he ordered hot wings for $6. I ate some mozzarella sticks and some hot wings. I had water to drink. I ate my mashed potatoes and green beans. The waiter wasn't overly helpful. He didnt go over and beyond. He definitely wasn't working towards a good tip. He was very friendly. It said if they didn't mention a certain drink they were supposed to give you a free item. I think it was an order of mozzarella sticks. Well, he didn't mention it and we didnt get the free item. It also showed it they didnt mention purchasing a gift card, you would get a free item. He didn't mention it and we didn't get that free item either. I overheard a waitress telling the table next to us about certain $1 drinks during happy hour. I asked him about drink and asked if it was alcoholic or not. He asked where I saw it from and I stated I overheard the waitress at the next table mention it to those diners. He didnt mention it was happy hour until 5:22 pm. It was over at 6. Yet, he told the table of females that just came in they had 6 minutes before happy hour was over and if they ordered right then, they could get that price. He came back and told them he got their order in on time. He didnt offer me a refill on my water even. I paid for the order on the table top machine and even included a generous tip for the lack of service. I brought my steak home with a few wings and my boyfriend grabbed his fries and ribs. I should have tried my steak there because when I got home, it was pink and when I bite into it, I could taste it wasn't done. I should have known. The waiter was virtual useless. The steak was horrible. I paid over 60.00. I was right the first time, I shouldn't have gone there again. It wasn't worth the money. James doesn't do well as a waiter and the cook doesn't do well with the food. Maybe the drinks are good but I wouldn't know because I couldn't even get a refill of water. I'm not impressed at all with the restraunt, the cleanliness, the waiter, the food or the cost. If it's in print that if they don't mention something and you are entitled to a free item then you should get the free item. They did it twice last night. We should have gotten two free items. I would have sent the steak back if I checked it while in the restaurant. There would be no way I would et the steak cooked the way it was. If something had been done to make the experience better, I would have gone back but because management didnt step in to rectify the problems, I won't go there again or suggest others to go eat there either. Applebees isnt a place I would ever go...

I had the 2 for $20 for dinner tonight, I order a medium well 9 oz steak with mashpotates and fries, boyfriend had the chicken strip basket. After our food was brought out my steak was raw and extra bloody with mashpotatoes and veges when I asked for fries. They said my fries will come out right away, but they didnt come out till another 10 extra minutes. The fries weren't even fresh!!! They were a little bit above warm and bit soggy. I ask to speak to manager name Tasha throu 2 servers because I was unhappy with my services and meal. I look across the room and saw the manager chatting it up with her workers and didn't come check on my table for 10 minutes when I had a complant! WOW such terrieble services. After 20 minutes of waiting my steak was replaces for a new one that was OVER COOKED! After that I didn't even bother to say anything anything I was just so tired and feeded up. I waited for my food for over 40 minutes and got nothing out of it. After the manager came back and checked on my new steak, asked how it was and I told her it was over cooked she gave me an additude and said in a very unprofessional, rude way "I guess we'll just pay for your steak tonight!" and walked away. I took 3 bites of my food and ask for the check and my bill was around $16 something instead of $20 something they said.

2 for $20 plus a $2 upgrade for the steak . so they should of have taken of half of that cause that was half of my meal but instead they charged us with the $10 chicken strip basket, made us pay for the appetizers that came with our 2 for $20 meal so our check was around $16 something.

I was not happy with the food or services but was still kind enough to leave the server a nice tip because she was nice trying to make sure that I got my steak and that it was cooked the way I asked.

We cone from its late night meals n happy hours cuz my bf gets off late. We frequent there much but last night from 9:30-10:45 was the worst experience ever of our lives. The server Hannah was rude cuz before we even halfway finished our whiskey burgers, she asked if we need to 📦 them up. She only checked on us 3 times mean while she checked on other patrons .more than 3. We had to flag her down. The worst thing she can do is after she gave us the meal, she wants us to pay at that .moment without checking our bills.. I mean.who does that, whether from the server's or the parrons' point of view. Our drinks took longer than 10 mins n the food even longer. If rhe burgers were great, we won't mind the wait. We love our burgers, but those burgers were the worst ever. Don't get me wrong, they have excellent taste, but the buns were cold, n the patties n bacons, not even warm. The burger experience was a nightmare. We were talking bout her behavior after she said, "Do u want boxes for our foods?" We were saying to ourselves whether she wants to eat our food. This is not how servers should behave by making their patrons feel they don't belong by hurrying them along. Anyway, u know ow how every bills come with tipping suggestions starting with 15 or 20% n up, but I don't think she deserved a 15% so gave her less than 15%. BTW:::: Don't get their beers cuz they come with big foam on up. So basically, we paid more than what we got. Who wants that now a days. My recommendation is to go to cheesecake factory n ask Kenneth to b ur server cuz everything was 5 star, the service, the food n the atmosphere. U can't ask better than that when eating out.
