I called to place an order for delivery because their app always gives me trouble paying online (they know about the payment problem on the app). She asked to place me on hold so I held… and held and held and held. By 15 mins of holding I decided to get in my car and go in. The last screenshot I took was at 19 mins but by the time I got there to order it was 25 mins. So I asked her if it was normal to hold this long on the phone and showed her that I was still on hold. She said “oh I totally forgot I put you on hold. What can I get you” at this point, I guess I looked upset and she said “I’m sorry it was a mistake. What can I get you?” Which I would have totally accepted, except for the way that She replied to me, was as if I was being an inconvenience to her. When I got there, there was one person in line and two people waiting. It wasn’t slow, but it certainly was not busy so she said dismissively, “Well, he’s the manager. You can talk to him” and didn’t even tell him what was going on just walked away. At which point I said to him, “I have been on hold for 25 minutes on the phone And I wish I would have gotten a better response about that.” He said “well nobody told me you were on hold for 25 minutes. I’m just finding out about that.” It was clear those two were not getting along and it was taken out on me. This is not how you treat regulars. I’m so disappointed in this interaction. As much as I love jimmy johns I can’t see me spending my very hard earned money here any longer. I always tip at least five dollars I’m a regular and this is...
Read moreDidn’t want to serve my daughter. They still had ten minutes left. He said he didn’t have fresh bread, when I took a pic of an entire rack behind him. My daughter didn’t even want a sandwich. She wanted a wrap. The tall foreign guy and the short white guy said to get the F out, when I told them they should prepare to have bread while they’re open. I told them the app let me order and they both said they didn’t care. Because the guys were being so aggressive with me, a woman, my husband came in and asked why they were speaking to us like that. The short guy called the cops on us and the cops came and said we didn’t do anything wrong. Go figure. Tall guy ended up apologizing to my husband because he asked the guy if he had a wife or daughter. The guy has a daughter on the way, so he admitted that being hostile with me and cussing at me was wrong, after I said I would post video of him. He said he was district manager of several locations in Miami. I doubt it. He offered full family meal if we came back the next day. We declined. Never again will these people get...
Read moreThe cashiers are not friendly at all. I’d even take it a step further and say that you are inconveniencing them by being there. The first couple of visits I just chalked it up to them having an off day but after 5 plus visits it seems this is the norm for this location. This time I was the only customer. I stood at the counter while a young lady just kept taking bread off of trays, looked back at me and then kept doing what she was doing without even acknowledging my existence. After a minute she called her co worker over to take care of me. The co worker took care of me but didn’t seem happy about it. Two weeks ago when I was here I got four sandwiches for my family and we couldn’t even eat them and they all went in the trash. The lettuce was super brown and we just couldn’t eat them. All in all, I recommend driving another 10 minutes NORTH to the 26th and Broadway location where the employees are always friendly and the sandwiches are always fresh. I live in Silver lake but I will be going to the Borth Everett location...
