Girl behind the counter named Oschanta told me wrong total 4 times, then shorted my change. Another member of my party got tacos with no meat. They went up to get the order corrected, and counter girl tried correcting them on how to order next time and became extremely rude saying "they better get out because i don't have the patience for this". Manager Keith came out and threatened to call the cops while another crew member is nice enough to remake their order. I approached counter with change given and receipt saying i was shorted and counter girl says, "Oh I shorted you? I don't think so i know how to count." So we started yelling for manager keith who's in the back ignoring me and talking about calling the cops while his unruly employee who can't count is threatening to fight another member of my party. The guy at the window had to go to the back and get the register key to give me the proper change, while apologizing saying "Not sure what that's about.." Thanked him sincerely then looked at counter girl Oschanta and said THANK YOU very loudly who then came out of the back to keep yelling at me as i was leaving. So i crumpled up the receipt with the CORRECT change on it and threw it at her then walked out the door. Worst experience I've ever had in any food establishment. Completely unnecessary belligerence from blatantly ignorant and incompetant staff. And the manager did absolutely nothing except somehow make the customer experience EVEN WORSE. Will never eat...
Read moreTaco bell food is what you expect, I don't expect much from a Taco Bell, but man, you gotta have some rude service for me to 1 star a taco bell. Some woman who I assume was a team lead or higher management tried to put the blame on me when no one was even acknowledging I was in the drive-through. I understand if it's busy, but a simple "I'll be with you in a few minutes" would be more than enough. Instead, I was left in total silence as two cars got their orders taken in the lane to my left, and the woman I mentioned earlier decided to say I was impatient and tried to put the blame on me. Now, I then proceeded to wait outside for the next 30 minutes for my food. Normally, i wouldn't care if they were busy, but there were zero cars in the drive-through. Just to find out that same manager didn't even send my order through. Fire that red-haired freckled manager, don't know her name, but her personal vendetta against me was uncalled for. On a side note, I saw her touch her phone and other items that weren't food with the same gloves she was preparing food with. Could be a health hazard. The rest of the employees were cool though, especially the cashier that got my order sent through immediately and the older lad who made the food....
Read moreIf I could give zero stars to the Taco Bell on College St in Fairbanks, Alaska, I would. This place is a disaster in every sense. The staff is shockingly rude, totally unprofessional, and it’s clear they could care less about doing their jobs well. I’ve honestly never seen employees who seem to hate their work and customers so openly. Orders take forever, and by the time you actually get your food—if they even manage to get it right—it’s cold and completely unappetizing.
But the cherry on top of this horrid experience was the so-called “regional manager.” When I tried to address these issues, she wouldn’t even give me the courtesy of her name. That’s right, she flat-out refused to identify herself, like she was hiding from accountability. Her attitude was smug and dismissive, showing she has no respect for customers or any interest in improving the terrible state of this location. Clearly, she has zero management skills and no sense of responsibility.
This Taco Bell is an embarrassment to the brand. It’s a mess from the ground up, and the leadership (if you can call it that) only makes it worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the frustration and go...
