Rocky Mountain Cigar Company & Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Fairplay

Yesterday, I was headed on a 3 day motorcycle adventure when my bike broke down at the Sinclair in FairPlay. I was bummed out and dejected I’d have to wait 2.5 hours for a truck to pick me up. I wandered into the Rocky Mountain Cigar Company doors and was so pleasantly greeted by Scott and his employee. They whipped me up a latte that looked like a French artisan created it. I plopped down in one of the many comfy leather chairs and started chatting with Scott, the owner. We talked business, adventure, family and everything in between. By the time my ride showed up, I forgot my motorcycle was even broke down! It was one of my most memorable mis-adventure-adventures I can remember. Came here twice with a friend while on our way to Cottonwood Inn hot springs. So good we stopped on our way back AFTER a relaxing day in the spring water!

Got a cigar for my husband… It came on recommendation from Scott after I asked for something unique that my husband wouldn’t find at any other cigar lounge near us in Dallas. Hubs just lit it up tonight. Absolutely loves it. Wish we were closer. We would love and live in this cozy spot with wonderful community.

My friend and I got to talk to the locals of Fairfield and with Scott and Button (phenomenal Barista, btw!). This was an absolute treasure and I wish more places and people like this existed where we were staying in Breckenridge. It ended up being one of the highlights of my stay in this area. Chivalry isn't dead! First thing you feel and notice when you walk in this amazing gem of place is like you just walked into a cozy and welcoming home! I just loved the atmosphere and people. On top of how cool this wonderful place is, I meet the friendliest, welcoming , and handsome barista every! I totally forgot my wallet and this sweetheart of man was going to give me the expresso for free without questions. That is the sweetest thing anyone has done for me in the longest time.
