Smackin Smokehouse — Restaurant in Fairview

Ordered the bologna sandwich, it had unlimited, up to 6 toppings.. received a greasy, soggy and flavorless hunk of bologna sandwich bread pudding. I submitted a ticket for help and eventually someone came to drop off the rest of my wife’s order and we asked him. He removed the sandwich and left, returning 15 minutes later telling me to give the kitchen a second chance; he let me know I ruined the sandwich myself for requesting all six toppings.

There is no warning in the order notes or server to advise that they are unable to accommodate all the toppings they offer. Next, a gentleman from the kitchen approached and told me to let them make the sandwich how they should (not mentioned on the menu). The bologna was flavorless , sandwich no seasoning.. we told him just plain didn’t enjoy their food. He argued that that’s just how their bologna comes and I made the sandwich soggy. Dude, we just did t like it, please take it off. I told him please get his manager if he cannot just refund.

They approached me and she now told me I ordered incorrectly. Now, I’m defensive is it some kind of pride? Have I been wrong my whole life and if I don’t like something it’s my mistake. Don’t offer it if you cannot do it? Right ? Am I crazy?

She refused to do anything at this point. So, I paid 11$ for 1 bite of a terrible sandwich. Honestly, the greasy oysters, sugar dumped beans and seasoning less canned greens. I only asked for money back for the sandwich. Good French fries.

Really, three layers of people blocking me from a simple refund . Other food vendors and staff at Revolving Kitchen, nice , delivered great food and drinks. Would recommend...

Update: In response to the petty, insulting, and unprofessional business: We did not request a "free meal". The bologna sandwich was taken away and rightfully disposed of after one bite. I purchased and PAID(none free) for two sandy and disgusting oysters(which I did not complain about), canned collards that tasted old and mushy and sugar/syrupy baked beans which were both left on the table. This meal wasn't worth a single penny and was trashed. I DID take home the orange chicken that I purchased from a different restaurant, which was excellent. Thanks for the attempt to use Google Reviews to prove my point and show other customers how unprofessional you are.

Original review: Be careful adding available condiments and toppings to your order. They will offer to remake, but admit they won't season the flavorless sandwich meat or do anything else to improve it other than "you messed up as a customer, it's YOUR fault for giving us your money". If you don't want the item because it's inedible for multiple reasons? They're unprofessional and argue with you in front of your family & baby instead of offering a refund or alternative. Very disappointing when their ribs and smoked sausage were actually ok. Ordered them through doordash. Never received my order. Called the restaurant like doordash says to do for any issues and Jay said his delivery driver dropped it off and rang the doorbell. I checked my front door and no food. I have a ring camera and there is no footage of anyone at my door. Jay said his delivery driver would go get the order from whatever door he dropped it off at and when he gets here, he would call to make sure they had the right place. Another hour passes by and still no phone call. So I call the restaurant again and then Jay tells me his delivery driver went by and the food was gone! So I just waited 2 hours for this food for nothing! I have video proof that they did not drop the food off at the right place! You guys should be making sure you have the right place before...
