Wild Bills, off 45th street in Fargo, North Dakota, is a western themed bar and restaurant. The restaurant is very family friendly with lots of games for the kids to wall TV's for the adults. They are great for if you want to grab drinks and catch up with some friends. They also have bingo every wednesday at 7 pm, saturdays at noon and disco bingo saturdays at 9 pm. They have plenty of seating options from booths to high and low top tables to bar seats; they have good seating options for large parties as well. My first dish of choice is your Classic chips and queso. It is a classic white queso with salsa in the middle and just the right amount of spice. It comes out nice and warm at just the perfect temperature. Additionally it comes with a huge plate of chips; perfect to share as an appetizer or to just eat yourself as a meal. Secondly, they have amazing barbarian pretzel bites. Authentic. hand twisted pretzels, salted and baked to order, served with a mouth watering honey mustard dipping sauce and delicious house made warm queso, perfect with any meal, shared with some family or friends, or just to eat yourself. For the last menu item Wild Bill's legendary favorite is their Cowboy Salad. A Fresh bed of summer greens piled high with pico de gallo and shredded pepper jack cheese. Next it comes with your choice of seasoned pulled chicken or tender steak bikes. Lastly it's served with a side of chili lime vinaigrette. You can get all this goodness for $13.19. Their prices range from $8 to $20. Wild Bill's is more preferable than their competitors such Buffalo Wild Wings, Twin peaks, or Bar down. It provides a more enjoyable family friendly environment. Also, they have a more friendly wait staff that is always striving to make your experience the best it can possibly be. While their competitors have regularly boring bar settings Wild Bill's make you feel more comfortable in their fun western themed environment. This is a great place to go if you want to catch up with some friends, have lunch or dinner with some family, watch some sports, get some drinks or just to have a good time. They are very welcoming with their friendly wait staff and fun environment. If you are in the area it's most definitely worth stopping by to have some good food and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen to Wild Bills a few times for lunch/supper and bingo in the past. My friend and I went to cosmic bingo last night and we had the worst service Iāve ever had in any establishment. When my friend and I are seated our waitress comes over and lets us know itās BOGO margaritas. We both order one and the fried pickles. We let her know we want to split the pickles on our tabs at the end. She nods her head like it was not issue. Our drinks comes and we tell her the color is off of what it usually looks like. We ask her if they make it different now. She gives us a blank look and says I donāt know. Doesnāt offer to go ask the bartender. We wave it off. When it comes time for our free margarita I order the same one, she decides to try another one. Waitress made no mention that she would have to order the same margarita to honor the BOGO. Our 2nd drinks come out, mine is exactly the same and hers is in a shot glass. We take a look at the drink menu to verify that is not what she ordered. We flag down our waitress. She gives us a blank look and says thatās the glass it just comes in. She should have disclosed that to us before my friend ordered her free margarita. We grab the drink menu and very that the spicy watermelon on margarita comes in a regular margarita glass. At the end of bingo we close out our tabs and we have to flag her down again to remind her we wanted to split the fried pickles. She says she isnāt able to do that because āit is a one food itemā. We were like huh?!? We told her we are always able to split food items on bills in wild bills and in any bar for that matter. She just stares at us again and doesnāt offer to go check. We then have to ask if she can go check. She comes back and said āoh it looks like I am dumb. I was able to split the picklesā. Such a disappointing night. It was like they threw that poor girl out on the floor with no training whatsoever. No knowledge of the menu, never offered to get assistance or make amends. We had to ask several times for her to go ask someone. Not sure if last night was an off night for wild bills or what but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat's today's date? September 13th. And yesterday, when I ate at Wild Bills, it was the 12th. (No, not the 12th of never)
And what season are we in? Well, since Summer ends on September 21st when Autumn starts, it's Summer by all measures as I write this.
Yet, that sign in the photo, clearly showing a BOGO offer on Margaritas all Summer long, is lying to you.
That event apparently ended at the end of August I was told when I attempted to order it.
But the sign is still up on September 12th.
Maybe they're slow?
And, it's clearly still summer, regardless.
Combine that with food that was decididly Mid, (my Fajitas had no flavor unless I added copious amounts of "Hot Sauce" (it was red - but so is Ketchup). I'm not sure how that's possible.
I did order at full price, their Margaritas... But they were mostly tequila flavored and contained virtually none of it. At nearly $10 each, all they were was big ...
While I may eat there again, they aren't top of my list of places I'd return to. They may have saved their company some money on not honoring their BOGO offer as clearly stated on the huge sign outside, but they've lost a repeat customer. ...
