I will never be going there to eat. As some of you may know, October 22nd 2021, was the Zombie Walk. As soon as my sister and I arrived and found a parking space, we had to use the bathroom. We were walking towards the event when she decided she could not hold it anymore and we went into Agora. We were not welcomed as we walked in, we started walking towards the bathroom and one of the staff members quickly cut us off by standing infront of us. She told us it was for "Paying Customers Only." So we went back out to get our dad, when we walked back in with him, once again we were stared at and ignored. He got someone's attention and asked if he could buy something so we could use the bathroom. She had to get someone else, another girl. This female was pretty rude and acted like she could care less, shrugging her shoulder's and everything, and told us it was for "Dining Customers Only." Then she went to get someone else, a guy also with a careless expression, even when my dad stated that my sister was about to pee on herself. He said the same thing the previous girl said, but also said they didn't want to have to clean up a mess(they could just LET Her Use The Bathroom). It may not sound that bad but that was some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Just a huge...

The food was excellent, as was the service, until the final payment transaction. We ordered a gyro 5.99 and a gyro combo 7.99. The combo comes with rice, and we wanted a side salad instead, we were told that it would cost a little more, and when the bill came it was a lot more. We were charged 5.00 for the side salad, I questioned it because we did not get the rice so we already paid 2.00 for the salad bringing the final cost to 7.00 for the salad. I asked if he could just charge me for the sandwiches and not a combo. The man behind the counter got upset by my request which would save me only 2.00 but that would be for the rice I did not get. He told me to just take my money and go. I offered to pay again and was told he didn't need my money. I left my server a 3.50 tip on the table and told him that his tip was left when the man again bellowed to me that he didn't need my tip and to take it as well. I will not eat here again, with this type of service, I can get a Gyro from around the corner by a business who does...

We have eaten here before and it was amazing. That was a couple years ago. My husband and I both ordered the greek salad and it was more like a house salad with green olives. The greens in the salad were the mix you buy at the store with the shredded carrots and cabbage and I am used to black olives whereas this salad came with green olives. The taste between the two definitely turned me off from the salad. I also ordered the baba ganoush and it looked and tasted like eggplant mixed with tzatziki sauce. I like tzatziki sauce so it tasted fine but I feel like there are a lot of shortcuts being taken. The server was really nice but I was caught off guard when she took my menu out of my hands when I ordered to write down how to spell baba ganoush. I didn’t complain or get snobby but it just made me more sad because I know my husband and I will not want to eat there again and it was nice to have the choice of...

Was sooo excited to try Agora as they had great reviews. Decided to stop in last week for a gyro and a salad to go while it was raining. The staff was super nice and welcoming. I waited just a few minutes for my food and it came out fresh. However, I was not super impressed by the taste, quantity, or quality. I really was expecting more, but did not get it this time at Agora. The food was just okay, with a lack of seasoning, spice, and just something special. The two saving graces was the fresh gyro meat and customer service. The meat was super fresh and partnered so well with the veggies and salad. However, everything else just missed it for me. The customer service was on point as I was warmly greeted and welcomed from when I entered the restaurant and when I excited. I am kind of unsure if I would come back just based on the foot quality. Maybe I would try them again with another dish to hope that it would be better?!?

My son gave my husband & I $100 in gift certificates to this Greek restaurant in Fayetteville. I placed an order To Go with Agora using up all the gift certificates. The restaurant is a small quaint establishment with friendly employees. We know Mediterranean cuisine quite well as my husband is Arab. The food lacked proper seasoning which I noticed after the first bite. What bothered me the most were the portion sizes. $8 for Hummus that was approximately a tablespoon worth. I’m actually surprised that they’ve made it to their 2nd year of business. This restaurant is extremely overpriced & there are other restaurants in Fayetteville that are a whole lot better with better prices on their food. I myself, would not recommend this establishment because of these things I’ve just mentioned.

Wasn't my intention to go to this restaurant BUT.... I'm so glad we did!! The food was delicious! It smelled so good when he brought us our plates that we immediately started eating. I was evening licking my fingers which is rare. Lol. We forgot to take pics of the plates until we were halfway in. The ride and chicken gyro were great. My husband had the beef and lamb kabob. At first it looked really undercooked, but that's a cultural thing for us. He said it tasted delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely going back again. The person in there was alone at first. He managed to make everyone feel welcomed and fed in a timely manner. It was a really cozy spot.
