Xscape Factor-Escape Rooms Fayetteville NC — Attraction in Fayetteville

Abduction was my 39th escape room. I have done almost all the companies in NC. I really had a great time, not only beating the room, but engaging in conversation with the owners. I LOVE this is a family owned and run company, especially starting off with a full 4 rooms. The owners really made me feel appreciated not only as a consumer, but as a fan of escape rooms. In all honesty I was going to give a 4 star review, but after reading other reviews where "people", that have only one "review" and gave them a 1 star rating with either a no or a bs reason made me think.... sour grape competition companies? Yah, a big boo to that crap.

This family works HARD and it shows. They are proud of what they built...and it shows.

Now my critique of the room. Wasn't the best, but buy far - by leaps and bounds - wasn't the worst (please see my review for the OTHER company in Fayetteville to understand why). Much better than above average. It was definitely challenging and fun and it was a solid good game. The storyline was good, and the owners told me about their plans on how they are changing it for the better.... and I think it will be much better!

Can't wait to visit again, even if it is a 2+ hour...

After doing numerous Escape Rooms across the area, this was BY FAR the best experience yet. Just walking through the door, we were immediately welcomed into the "Family", and the Owners were absolutely AMAZING. They took the time to talk to us and explain to us their vision they had for their Family Business and their enthusiasm for this type of Family Entertainment. Their hard work and dedication definitely showed in the rooms as well because they were so very well put together and each one unlike the others. Unfortunately, I can't give away the awesome details we enjoyed most because of possibly throwing out hints to the people who have yet to visit, so you will definitely have to see it for yourselves!! We were a group of Paramedics, and Firefighters, so to meet the Owners and find out they are both Active and Retired Military, made the experience that much more enjoyable knowing we are all apart of the same Family. Absolutely LOVE this place, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Downtown...

Would LOVE to go back when the madness of their mask mandates stops. The signs on the door are over the top and had my husband not already paid...I would have left. Mandates are lifted and they still have very harsh unwelcoming signs. It says if you don't have a mask on do not come in and ring the bell. I am assuming to tell you that you are not welcome. If you like breathing healthy oxygen this place won't be for you. If you have no problem breathing in bacteria from a dirty mask, it won't be a problem for you. I know a lot of people are started to go out again and are frequenting only businesses that are not forcing this. Other than that it was super fun and they were very nice. It was worth the money and we had a great hour!

Our teens would love it..but we won't take them until the madness is gone from their business...
