With limited props, they put on a professional level performance. I watched Sweeney Todd and it was a better than perfect performance from everyone. You definitely all rocked the part at mental asylum. There could not have been a more perfect Mrs Lovett!! Beggar woman, you were hilarious! Johanna wow, those high notes and paired with Anthony, partnered well. Sweeney and judge outstanding!! The voice quality and believability of the whole thing just blew me away! I have been a fan of Sweet Tea Shakepeare since I became aware of it's existence in 2016. Since that time I have attended many shows and each one was a delight. Community theatre enriches those who take advantage of the opportunity. Saw "Little Women" -- it was fine. Community theater is a great outlet for theater kids and former theater kids. Otherwise, they might become mimes or seek validation in even more destructive ways. Was it cringey sometimes? Very. But the actors were usually in on the joke. Props to STS for keeping these drama nerds off...
