Friend's Cafe — Restaurant in Flagler Beach

OK for months upon months, we always rode our Harleys up to friends restaurant in Flagler Beach. A place to have breakfast and to always help mom n pop places out .So today we rode up there again like we did yesterday to have breakfast (45min ride) . There were five of us we were told we had to wait 30 minutes well after 55 minutes and watching people in groups. Of 5 going in and being seated, we finally walked inside and said we’ve been out here for almost an hour. Why are these people being seated and we are not ? there is five us in our party also why did you seat these people? Once again, no response two minutes later some woman comes out and says you just gonna have to wait for a table so we told her what was going on. She totally did not care! We’ve been going there for quite a long time having breakfast going to the store that is attached to the building that has some very nice stuff for the house. Spent a couple hundred dollars in that store. They didn’t need to treated us like dirtbag bikers , well that was enough to piss us off everybody in the group , we got up and left , they will never ever get another dime of our money. We’re so disappointed in them and they should be ashamed of themselves. They see us all the time even the waitresses no us . so to all the bikers out there and there is a lot of us if you’re looking for breakfast you definitely don’t want to go there ! We never realized how rude and disrespectful they were, they will sit another group in front of you until they’re good and ready to get to you. clearly they don’t like bikers so beware bikers and all my brothers and sisters. This is not the place to go.very disappointed in friends restaurant and the manner there treated us after all this time supporting that little restaurant...

First off...they say bottomless coffee, not the case. My husband & I were here several mths ago & he asked several different waitresses for a refill, held his cup as they went by & not one would give us 1 refill. The short grey haired woman was rude but we think oh maybe a bad day, pay & leave. Fast forward to today we take our grand kids so there are 6 of us, not busy so the lady at register says we can seat ourselves. We go to the tables put together & low & behold the short greyhaired lady (again) says you can't sit there its reserved, you can wait on this other big table that was full of guys eating to be done. So all of us standing in the middle of this place we decide to use a booth & table close to each other & we scoot it a few inches closer to our kids so to not crowd the "reserved table". Again she hustles right over and says "did you guys move this table?" Well yeah so when they come in its not cramped. That did not suit her again. She says well now the girl can't reach our booth. By this time after all the rudeness we say we'll we will just make this easier on you al, we left & went to a lovely restaurant in bunnell, The Southern Table. Excellent food, kind people, continually stopping with coffee & plenty of room for large parties. All while being a busy place. Worth the ride just...

The portions at this Cafe can't be beat! It is Amazing! I "Love" it!! There are licsense plates hanging all over the walls inside,,All donated by guests who have eatin there and wanted to leave their mark on the place! They are from all over the world! It's pretty kool to go in there and see all the tags and where they are all from!! They also have the "Best" Coffee around!! Mmmmm...Gonna miss this place when I Finally move!! If you go there make sure you order the Ham!! They give you an entire Ham Steak, where if you order Bacon, all you get is 2 paper thin slices! And if you order sausage you get half a slice or 2 very small patties if you order it that way! Sooo, your better off paying the 75¢ more for the Ham than the 🥓 Bacon or Sausage🌭! And "Do Not Order There Sausage Gravy" whatever ya do! It's the same as the canned kind ya get at the dollar general, and it smells and tastes like canned dog food! Even if you can get past the smell of it, I promise ya, ya won't be able to get past the taste! It's just awful! But there coffee is the Best ever! And all the rest of their food is amazing! Just not that sausage gravy!...
