Normally Id give this place five stars all the way around. Unfortunately, I have no idea what their problem was yesterday. Maybe the entire crew is new? No one, all the way up to the manager, knew what the hell they were doing. They were very rude, very slow, and seemed to not be happy at all.I don't think I saw a smile on any of their faces. They refused to accept the survey receipt I had filled out. Trying to charge me for 2 sandwiches. When the receipt clearly says, I get any sandwich of equal or lesser value free when purchasing a sandwich. They sat there, staring at me at the drive threw. Completely ignoring me. Even though the order was ready. Waiting only until I turn my engine off to acknowledge my presence. The order in which they handed me wasn't packaged correctly and it ended up damaged during transit. Due to their incompetence, I'M ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED AND APPALLED! What the hell happened? This McDonalds was so great, and 24/7. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD CREW. THE ONE WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING WITH SMILES, WE'RE ALL POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL!!! Sure the drive through was still long, but at least it was because they were busy and not because they just didn't care about doing their job or didn't know how to do it. I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this place yesterday. Especially since every experience, prior to this one has been nothing but the very best 5 stars experience all the way around. I have no idea what happened, but it has definitely gone down hill. It's really sad to see this. Thankfully, there are other mcdonalds in this town that are good and I don't really have to eat at night. So the twenty four hour one is not that big a deal to avoid just to get a better quality service with the type of experience, i've grown to love about mcdonald's. The crew last night only encourages me to avoid them. Like I do with interest on credit cards. EDITED THE NEXT DAY HERE: I went to another McDonalds in Flagstaff. They were able to do what this McDonalds refused to do and or did not know or care to know how to do. Apparently, customer service is not one of their fortes at this restaurant..Attached is the reciept to show the incompetent people working at this restaurant, that they not only are wrong but gave a valued customer one of the very worst McDonalds experiances ever! I will not be ordering here while the crew from last night still operate the business against and outside of the McDonalds corporate policy. I didn't make the rules. Read moreI personally am not a huge fan of McDonald's in general because their food is not very good at all. It's generally cold and tastes like something that was cooked several times then microwaved. They have become ridiculously overpriced as well! To get a coffee similar to a frappuccino you would get at Starbucks, it costs significantly more and you get significantly less coffee. Not to mention, the coffee tastes like a sugary milkshake depending on the kind you get. I got a caramel frappe and it tasted like a super sugary caramel Frosty. It was not good at all, and I honestly question if there is any coffee in those drinks whatsoever. They have said that there is a good amount of coffee in those drinks but I don't taste a bit of coffee in them at all. And to pay almost $6 for one of these drunks that are about 16 ounces, maybe less since they're Frozen, is so not worth it. And to be honest, it's not just the coffee that is expensive and not good quality at all, everything has become so overpriced, while the quality gets worse and worse! Plus, this particular McDonald's always has a very very long line and there are supposed to be two lines but the second one is never opened. Regardless, the lines are very long the service isn't that great and the food is not good at all or good for you whatsoever, plus the prices are so high now that you are better off going to a slightly more upscale place and paying just about the same. Our bill for McDonald's for food for my husband and children and a coffee for me ended up being over $20! And our kids didn't even get Happy Meals they just got a burger and small fries, while my husband only got a burger. I could not believe it was that expensive! Plus they got the order wrong, which they generally do often so I would not recommend this place at all. You're better off going to a Chili's or IHOP or something, and paying maybe 5 bucks more and getting a nice quality meal that you can sit down and eat together with your family. The only reason I gave it 2 Stars instead of 1 is because it's expected that you're not going to get the greatest of service here and it's a fast food place but, that doesn't excuse them from raising their prices to extremely unfair amounts while lowering the quality of their products. A BIG -1 star for the ridiculously slippery entrance. I get that it snowed last night McDonald's, and I'm SURE your lawyers could argue the that parking lot and walkway of your restaurant aren't TECHNICALLY your problem, but they were almost completely iced over, and very, very dangerous.
Try to think of being considerate and decent as a money saving tactic. Just throw out some salt or rocks, so people like me dont fall down, get hurt and waste time trying to sue you. You guys are the biggest restaurant in the world, I think you could swing a few bucks for lava rocks. They're a lot cheaper than lawyers!
