Bob Evans — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

I ordered 4 quarts of cheddar potato soup and my soup wasn’t cut the potatoes were so hard also it was runny like water I’ve never had this bad experience with us my rules were cold when they told me they’d heat it up and when I asked for chives and bacon on the side they gave me soggy chives in a cup it was horrible the worst experience I’ve had from Bob Evans and it makes me not want to go back and order anything again do you know when yesterday was the perfect day with it being chilly and rainy plus my grandbabies were coming down with a cold but other than that honestly 98% of the time everything is perfect so don’t let this scare you guys off from ordering this cheddar potato soup because it is awesome it’s the best soup I’ve ever ate I hope you all just realize if you get a bad order like I did make sure you do call them and let the manager know like I did that’s why I’m only give another two star of those because the way my service was taken and then also they didn’t even ask me for anything I offered and gave them my first name by the time I try to give them my last name and my phone number they hung up soPaying for eight $37 meal plus a pie a whole pumpkin pie from there I feel like I just threw my money away but they are making it right today I appreciate that very much so like I said everybody don’t just turn away because I’m telling you the bad experience I had I just want y’all to know it’s always call up there have it be fixed OK cause Bob Evans is one of my number one places to eat. Horrible experience due to horrible management. Sat down and didn't see our waitress for 20 + minutes. When she did come she apologized because she did not know she was the only waitress on the floor. Food was good when we finally got it but they were out of several items. When we went to check out we had to wait about five minutes at the register with no line because no one was there to check us out. Finally our waitress came and tried to cash us out but struggled with it. Eventually a poorly dressed "manager" named Sarah came in from smoking outside and helped our waitress cash us out, but walked away and made a call on her personal cell phone while our waitress struggled to cash out the other party that we had dined with. She had to call Sarah, who was still on her phone, back to the register to help again. In the meantime there were two other tables, possibly more, being ignored. It was very obvious to me that Sarah does not care about Bob Evans, it's guests, or the employees she is in charge of. I will never come back to this location and neither will the others that we dined with last night. Sarah needs to be terminated immediately if this location wants to have future guests...

Order a Cobb salad and two kid meals. Waiting, waiting normal amount of time especially since we were the only table for 10 minutes. She tells me they are out of eggs. At Bob Evans. No eggs that are hardboiled. Um ok. Do I still want the salad? I say forget it just get the kids eating because I have a long drive. Their food is ready and waiting and it took all that time before you realized no eggs? Ok. Then she comes back. They are making it for me, packaged to go and I'm like thank you. I get it, you still want the sale. The line cook comes out with my order, apologizing, saying he made me some extra. Like a dummy, I thank him profusely and I don't check the order. She never refills my coffee despite it sitting on the edge of table. She never checks on us. I finally get home, kids to bed, time to finally eat. Salad has Bleu cheese, I said no Bleu cheese. Salad has no avocado, I paid for avocado. Salad has undercooked egg, what was the rush? I have others at my table who are eating, you have time to boil an egg. And it was normal size salad, split into two containers, not extra, not at all. And I thanked this boy....
