Update:
Unprofessionalism and conniving behavior are hallmarks of this particular location. I stopped going after overlooking multiple instances of ill-mannered behavior and most egregiously from a manager of all people. From having a manager ask to buy my jewelry (which is worth hundreds of dollars) for "50 dollars", to being lied to about the quality of the chicken (by the same manager, Tasha) after asking about the difference between the Royal Chicken and the discontinued Ch'King sandwich. She tried to portray them as the same as though I don't know the difference. Something is seriously wrong with the fact that this is allowed here, especially in an area that services so many out of state visitors. Don't get me started on the fact that you will have to fight off flies if you decide to dine in. Hopefully these flies don't make it into the bag or food of pickup and drive-thru orders.
Lack of accountability and avoidance of duties is also very prevalent here. When I made it known that a new teenage staff member went out of his way to address me in a way that was highly inappropriate, the issue was avoided and dismissed as though it was trivial. I was interrupted while in the middle of an assignment on my laptop for nothing by this employee. I later found out that this teenage employee lied about coming from behind the counter to interrupt me. The restaurant manager, Tehran, disturbingly made the claim as though she thought a first time complaint from a customer of several years was inferior to the denial of an immature new hire who isn't even a high school graduate. For some reason loyal customers are not valued whatsoever at this location. Expect to be treated as though you are a common pedestrian out in public instead of someone who is spending your money with a brand that respects you. When asked to be given the contact information of the District Manager, Mike, I was given the run around.
After speaking with the District Manager, Mike, for a second time in person, it became apparent that Mike is only concerned about profit and not ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving brand loyalty from repeat customers. He took offense that I went beyond him (after multiple attempts to handle things with the restaurant managers) and wrote a review instead of reporting to him and having my concerns ignored once again. He even told me that he "didn't care" about a detail I mentioned regarding an employee who actually cares about doing her job and treating customers with respect. I asked him if it was appropriate to tell a customer that he "doesn't care" about something they tell him. He later went on to claim that there was an accusation (made at the David McLeod Boulevard location) in which he implied I was "phishing" for information from customers. He back-tracked on using the word "stalking." I made it clear that I rarely interact with customers at the David McLeod location and when I do interact with them, I am very friendly, usually when they request my attention. This occurred after it was revealed that I spoke to a relative (about her recently deceased mother, who I was close to) who came to Burger King the previous week to bring her granddaughter to use the playground area with no intention of making a purchase at the restaurant. Apparently this was misrepresented by someone as "phishing" for information from a fellow customer. It's disturbing that this is how the authority of the Burger King restaurants in the area reacts to customer complaints. Apparently Mike feels that villifying concerned customers who have repeatedly been treated with disrespect is an appropriate way to represent the Burger King brand. After this experience today (10/08/2024) it's easy to understand why the managers at that location feel they can behave the way they do toward customers. I have to commend their nearby competitor, McDonald's, whose Area Superivisor (Mark) I have interacted with several times. He actually cares about customers and rectifying situations with tact, unlike Mike, District Manager of...
Read moreI have worked fast food An this place needs all new people ! Went through drive thru first, sat at speaker for a good 3 minutes without a greeting to either of the cars waiting so we pulled out of the drive thru and went inside. When we told them no one answered the drive thru all they did was say sorry while I watched your workers stand around an talk with a backed up drive thru An people waiting in your lobby for food .
When at the register all we were ordering was 4 meals, and it took a good five to seven minutes and the girl had to go get a manager to help her an acted inconvenienced by us .
Many of the employees were just standing around not doing anything more concerned with personal conversations other then paying customers . Also employees who keep their arms crossed rolled their eyes An have their phone hanging out of their back pocket while keeping their back to all the customers does not look professional An does not make your team or store look good .
The cups we were given initially had grease and food debri on and in them, which they even gave us to many so inventory waste management I’m sure is a issue here. one even had a hole in it and we had to ask for new ones from the so unpleasant arms crossed I can’t be bother employee and throw them away.
From ordering to receiving our order took a good 12-15 minutes, and there were only about 4 other orders in total for inside, and maybe 5 in drive thru.
Employees at the register turned their backs on customers and one girl walked away from the register while there was maybe 2 customers still in line to go and talk to someone. Your manager had a unpleasant tone an not one smile to her customers also not one word of direction to her workers who were not doing anything . Absolutely awful !
Absolutely horrible service tonight. Also going to report all of this to corporate, because the service tonight (12/14/18 around 5pm) was absolutely unacceptable, especially with as many employees were working no need to wait that long at a fast food place when you had a good 8-9 people on shift . I have honestly seen busier locations with fewer crew members working give excellent service. An smile at the customers an make us feel welcomed !
I have worked in fast food myself and from experience, I can tell you that this is poor management and very possibly poor crew member training. Only positive thing I can say is that they got the food right( the whopper) it was cold tho An fries were undercooked . Everything else was absolutely terrible.
I would NOT recommend this location after tonights service. I highly recommend more training or...
Read moreLet me start off by saying me and my husband was visiting here from Nc and I have never experience the service that I received from this store.Me and my husband stopped here to get something to eat for it was late and all the other fast food options were already closed.we order 2 number 14 combos. When we came through the drive through there was us and another car so this location was not busy.this employee by the name of Dasha Brown she need to be fired.SHE CAME TO THE WINDOW AND ALREADY SHE HAD A LOOK LIKE SHE DIDN'T WANT To BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE NO FRIENDLY GREATING JUST ATTITUDE WRITTEN ALL ON HER FACE.She took my husband card for the payment, closed the window and continue to carry on with what ever was going on with her and other employees.when she finally returned to the window she handed my husband the bag with no drinks and closed the window and continue again the activity that was going on with her and team members with her back turned to us the whole time.MY HUSBAND THEN BLEW THE HORN TO GET HER ATTENTION SHE CAME TO THE WINDOW AND WE ASKED WERE ARE OUER DRINKS WITH A VERY SMART TONE. And not a smile on her face I responded back for getting that kind of response when I am. Spending my money I refuse to pay for that kind of attitude and smart mouth.I then asked to speak to the manager her name was Marsha I then was talking to her about this employee attitude this employee continue to talk in the back ground and would not shut up that is how people get hurt, and I could not believe that this manager stood there and allowed this employee to continue to talk to a customer really ghetto and yes that was how she was acting talking back to me while the manager was there, really who ever owns are have. Top head with this store need to be a shame because if you are not aware of what is going with your store this is how stores lose customers and money because I will never come to this location again.I will also be posting this on social media along with the video for...
