1/6/23 My Wife took me out for my birthday and we had a very horrible experience. Our server was absolutely atrocious. She our waitress would ask me if I wanted more to drink, but she completely ignored my Wife the entire evening. The Sushi was alright, but the fried Sushi was cold. Then we went back to the Hibachi Grill we ask the cook not to overcook our food and he left it on the grill for 10 minutes and cooked it hard as a brick. The worst part was when we got to the register to pay there were 5 teenagers on their cell phones doing nothing and ignored as well. So when I asked before you ring that up you need to ask we how we felt about the food and service (3) times. 1 girl finally ask how was the food and service "very smugly". And when I asked to see the Manager I turned around and she was literally laughing, and the boy ran the card as I asked him not to do and charged us $38.00 and laughed in our face with the Manager standing 15 feet away doing absolutely nothing. I was absolutely appalled with how this was handled and that the adults did not take control of the situation. Hire cooks that understand what the people are saying, hire friendly professional and non-racist people, and adjust on all ofyour complaints. Serving bad, or reheated food, and treating people poorly is not good business. I have an idea put the children back where they belong the register is not it, and grown-ups take responsibility for your business not your children. Read moreMy nephew wanted to eat at this restaurant for his 18th birthday. Him and his mom use to frequent this establishment for his birthdays before she passed away. He requested this place to re live the memories and receive the special birthday song which was his favorite. Upon entering the restaurant, my family and I paid and asked the cashier do they still offer it due to it being years since we've visited. She assured us they still did it. We got our food from the buffet which wasn't good but we tried to stay positive for the experience. After eating, we asked the waitress about the request and she wasn't friendly about it but informed us someone was coming. We sat around for about 20 minutes talking but not eating because the food was blah. I asked a second time and no one came. Finally, after about another 20 minutes, I went to the cashier to ask her again. She yelled at the waitress to come and they started conversing in language we didn't understand in a rude way. My family and I decided to just leave. Their customer service and food sucks. What may have seemed small to them had a deep meaning to us. Read moreSeptember 13th was my first time I’ve ever been to this restaurant and it was ok. This was a suggestion from one of the kids that I took to the movies. Good selection was good and nothing really stood out that I could say was bad. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was attentive. The restaurant is huge, but I think they could have used their floor space better for seating purposes. I would go back, but I wouldn’t eat the Sushi. Also, it would be a good idea to put a box of gloves at the buffet station instead of being given gloves that someone else has already touched them laying them on the table before use. FYI: For some reason, the payment system they use for credit/ debit card purchases puts a hold on an amount that’s MORE than your purchase and it takes about 3 business days for the difference to be returned to your card. I was aware and almost had a fit. 😂 I always check to make sure no restaurant I visit punch in more than I actually purchased.
