I am upset with the service at my local Starbucks due to ongoing issues with one specific barista. Months ago, she came to me and told me that I couldn’t customize my drink and that I had to order it as listed on the menu and then add or subtract whatever I wanted, but it had to be based on a menu item. Mind you, one of the biggest things about Starbucks is that customers can customize their drinks however they want. I didn’t argue with her because I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for the past two years, ordering the same exact drink every day. But I found it very upsetting that she approached me and told me this out of nowhere. So, I started going to other Starbucks locations in my area instead.
Eventually, I decided to come back to my local Starbucks because I didn’t want one bad experience to stop me from going there. But every time I order my drink now, she never fills it up properly. All baristas wear headpieces and hear the customers' drink orders, so it’s easy to recognize a regular, especially someone who orders the same thing every day. She knows it’s me, and yet my drink is never made correctly. I pay for a venti size regardless of the ingredients, yet it’s never filled to standard. I have never had any issues with any other baristas at this location. In fact, they make my drinks beautifully full, overflowing, and with clear care in their work. But with this one barista, it’s always an issue. If she doesn’t like making my order then she shouldn’t be the one doing it. Another barista can make it instead.As a single mom, I don’t spend money on myself This is the only indulgence I give myself. Read moreI have been going to starbucks for about 8 years and I have never experienced a anything short of great customer service. That said, yesterday I went to get one drink and I had the worst customer service experience EVER!! I made my order and when I pulled up I had to wait at the window for 10 minutes before anyone even aknowledged I was there. I honked twice since the wait was getting ridicoulous and I was still neglected. I understand things happen and sometimes it takes longer to get your drink I understand that. But at every starbucks if they are behind, they AT LEAST open when I pull up take my payment and inform me of the delay. If she had time to go by the window to laugh and talk to her coworker who was sweeping, she had a second to aknowledge me and inform me of the delay instead of ignoring me. WORST STARBUCKS EXPERIENCE. believe me she knows because I told her that next time she should let the customer know instead of leaving them there unattented. Read moreIt's the last Starbucks before the Key Largo starts (mainland Florida ends). Great place to stop by for a break, especially if you are coming through route 27 and 997. The staff is great and very friendly. More importantly, the lady who attended us had the smartness and sensitivity to take off whipped cream from our order of Mocha Frappe after learning that we have asked for Almond Milk (vegan Frappe). At other places, even after saying that we want a vegan version of something, the person taking order doesn't have the brains to let us know at least other dairy products that are getting used while making our order. We visited this place twice and on both the occasions I used the restroom. It was quite clean and things were well maintained, except that it was out of soap on both the occasions.
