This place was recommended by my kayak tour guide. At first I was apprehensive because I’ve had such a hard time finding an authentic Mexican restaurant. Everyone claims they are authentic but what you get is Tex- Mex. I decided to give them a try since I was in the area. The food was delicious!!! The flautas are just like the ones I make at home and the guacamole /chips and the carnitas tacos are also really good! My husband has been chasing Birria tacos and was on the verge of giving up until trying them here and they were exquisite!! The atmosphere is so welcoming you feel like you are eating in your family’s kitchen/home. The service was exemplary as they went above and beyond even after we had settled our tab. I was greeted with warm smiles and super friendly service. The staff here are genuinely kind and make you feel right at home, like you’ve been coming for years even if it’s your first time.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. You can tell it’s made with care. One of my favorite parts was the homemade chips — warm, crunchy, and served with their own salsas and fresh pico de gallo. Each salsa had a different kick, and I honestly could’ve just sat there snacking on chips and been happy.

Massive portions! Like, seriously big. And the prices? Honestly shockingly low for the quality and the amount of food you get. It’s rare to find a place in town where you leave stuffed, satisfied, and still have money in your pocket.

Excelente! Exactly what we needed to satisfy our Mexican food cravings while we were in the area. The service was quick, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They brought us a tray with extra limes, cilantro, onions, and lettuce, which was a nice touch. The food was absolutely tasty, and each bite hit the spot.
