CVI.CHE 105 Dadeland is not just a restaurant—it’s a full-on celebration of Peruvian cuisine, culture, and hospitality. From the moment we were seated, we were swept into a vibrant atmosphere alive with energy, color, and bold aromas that hinted at the feast to come.
Our evening was made extra special thanks to Javier, our phenomenal server. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food, he guided us through the menu with great suggestions and flawless service. His warm personality made us feel right at home.
The culinary journey began with a bright and zesty Ceviche Ganador, layered with citrus-marinated seafood and that signature leche de tigre, topped with crisp red onions and cancha. Each bite was as refreshing as it was satisfying. The Anticuchos—tender skewers of marinated beef heart served with golden potatoes and choclo—were perfectly grilled and rich in smoky flavor.
We couldn’t get enough of the Ají de Gallina, a comforting plate of shredded chicken in a creamy, nutty pepper sauce, paired with a dome of fluffy white rice and garnished with sliced egg and olives. The Arroz Chaufa, their Peruvian-style fried rice, was a savory umami bomb packed with tender meat, scrambled eggs, and a blend of spices that made it utterly addictive. The Pulpo a la Parrilla (grilled octopus) was charred to perfection and topped with a luscious yellow pepper sauce and a fresh salad—beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived like artwork on a tray. We tried a trio of sweets, including Lucuma Mousse—creamy, velvety, and topped with chocolate pearls and edible flowers—and the show-stopping Suspiro Limeño, layered with silky meringue and cinnamon, a true Peruvian classic. Each dessert was elegant, well-portioned, and a perfect ending to our meal.
Between the striking presentation, explosive flavors, and standout service from Javier, CVI.CHE 105 at Dadeland delivered a five-star experience from start to finish. This is a spot we’ll gladly return to again and again—and recommend to anyone craving an unforgettable taste of...
Read moreI rated the food and atmosphere 5 stars. However, the service is the reason for this review being low. I honestly don’t really ever take the time to write a bad review but if I was the owner of this restaurant I would want to know. I really don’t want this review to deter anyone from eating here because honestly the food is REALLY good and the atmosphere is awesome.
Today my wife and I were on our way to north Italia and we passed by CVI.CHE and decided to switch it up and eat there instead.
We started by ordering drinks. When the waiter brought me a can of Pepsi, I asked him if they had any fountain drinks instead. I honestly just prefer the diluted tasted of fountain drinks over canned. Simple as that. When I asked him, he condescendingly told me that they don’t have fountain drinks there. When I asked him what other drink options they had, he responded “we have Pepsi and Inca cola.. that’s it.. we don’t have fountain drinks here”. It felt like a petty response considering he felt the need to remind me once again that the restaurant did not have fountain drinks. I really was turned off by his response because it really ticks me off when a waiter seems like they’re on a high horse to judge the person ordering by what they ask for. I noticed different types of drinks come out of the kitchen during my time there and it was so upsetting that he didn’t even take the time to simply tell me what other options of drinks the restaurant had but instead tells me that it’s Pepsi, or Inca cola and that’s it.
Anyway, this may not seem like a big deal but it really put a negative note on my lunch today. More than anything I just didn’t like it that he seemed to remind me that the restaurant does not offer fountain drinks in a derrogatory way.
Other than that, our...
Read moreAs a food critic known for reviewing distinguished culinary establishments across the globe, Ceviche 105 at Dadeland has rightfully earned its place among the memorable.
This Miami outpost delivered a compelling interpretation of modern Peruvian cuisine with depth, precision, and pride.
We began with an array of appetizers: – The Ceviche Chucuit – The Papas a la Huancaína classically Peruvian. – sushi
The culinary journey continued: – The Risotto with Churrasco – The Pargo Caribeño was crisped just right – The standout? "El Arroz con Pollo de Mis Recuerdos"—a nostalgic, plate that transported me to a grandmother’s kitchen with one spoonful.
Desserts – The Torta de Mousse – The Tocinillo de Coco – The Maracuyá Mousse a flawless ending.
– The Pisco Sour was refreshing. – The Chan Chan – The Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut added the perfect touch of celebratory sparkle.
If there is one modest critique, it would be the the coldness of the server, it lacked the warmth I’ve come to expect in top-tier establishments. However, the flavor execution, ingredient quality, and culinary integrity more than compensated.
Ceviche 105 Dadeland is not just a restaurant, it’s Peru’s culinary soul.
