Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Florida

The place was rather empty, I expected to asked what I wanted for order but the employee just stood there while I let him know what I wanted. The employee didn’t know how the menu worked nor he suggested any toppings in which I found what I needed to customize in order to get what I wanted. The lady making the bread used her feet to adjust the baking pan into the tray, ridiculous and unsanitary, she didn’t realized she was being watched. Customer service is horrible but, I noticed the person in front and behind me did get a better reception. I do not recommend this place.

Second update: I went back to see if things got corrected and they were not, why do I go back you ask as it continues to be the same? I like JJ and is closed by but 3rd time is the charm for me. Now I most certainly recommend to try another hoagie place or another...

I can't say how the food is because I didn't eat there. The reason why is, I went in to order a sandwich to go 2 days ago. I walked in and there were no other customers in the store. It was around 9:15pm. The guy behind the counter was sniffing and his nose was red. He had on gloves and while he was waiting on me to decide what I wanted he took his gloves off and reached into his pocket and pulled out a used tissue and started wiping his nose with it and he was touching all over it. Then he put the tissue back in his pocket and laid his hand on the food counter where they make the sandwiches. If an employee is sick they should stay home, or at least if its just a cold, say excuse me, go to the back, blow your nose, wash your hands, then come back up front and put on clean gloves. The subs were good however it was $2 extra for cheese? I never heard of that. Cheese always comes on a sub no matter what state or whatever place sells subs. Also the tomatoes were all end pieces and very small. Very little lettuce and very little onions. Only 2 thin slices of cheese and two slices of turkey. ( on a full size sub )Fresh big roll however so very skimpy on all ingredients. 2 subs for $30 and tasted good but never again going to Jimmy J's. It is a shame since the place was clean and the food was fresh and the people were nice. I contacted the manager Heather and she just said sorry you were disappointed and at the end she sing/song sarcasticly 🎶have a nice day🎶 and hung up. I will be getting in touch with corporate.
