Walked in. Placed order w/older man. Stated, "An Italian footlong cut in half". He corrected me by stating, "You mean 2 six inches." I replied, "Okay." Thinking however you cut it man. 6 plus 6 equals 12... He asked me if I wanted it toasted. I replied yes. He continued to correct me on how to place an order. He took a footlong piece of white bread and cut in half. Proceeded to put the half portion to the side. My toasted half was passed on to a second worker. As the second worker started to ask me what type of cheese..I noticed it was 1 six inch sandwich. I asked this worker where the other half of the sandwich was. He looked at me annoyed and lost. I explained that I wanted a sandwich for two people. He visible became confused and stood there like a deer in headlights. The half completed portion was passed from him to a female worker. I gave her the vegie selections and again asked her where the second sandwich was. She turned to the previous worker to clarify. The older man, who I started w/disappeared and just walked off. I told the staff, I gave my order to the older man. The younger man, scoffed at me and literally rolled his eyes and laughed at me. In front of 4 other customers and my company w/me for lunch. My company, jumped in to try and offer up some clarity to the now rude employee and clearly felt uncomfortable that that second man, was making fun of me, right in front of all of us. I was calm and said to the two females down the line, that it was a fixable problem and no worries. I would like a second six inch for my husband. The rude young man, stomped to the front/start of the counter, grabbed a foot long bread, cut it and literally threw the half portion across the counter. In doing so, he scoffs aloud saying, "If my manager did what he did, he did it for a reason and did not make a mistake." He rolled his eyes, and continued to sarcastically try and belittle me like I was ignorant. My company tried again to explain the error to no avail. The two female workers stood awkwardly and I said to them, "Not a problem. I'll pay for the six inch and the footlong. No problem. My money is green and spends." The ladies grinned while the young man made a sandwich at the start of the counter. Still upset because he had to re-start the order. The ladies finished my order and transaction. The female guest before me, shook her head that she too thought the young male worker was being very rude to a paying customer. One who was not cursing, not showing any anger at all, and one who stated aloud that it was a fixable matter and she was willing to pay for the meal made in error. My guest stated on our way out that she was so embarrassed for me and clearly witnessed that the Manager, up and left, a change in shift happened, and the young man was uncalled for in laughing at me and making fun of me in his confusion. As if, I was the one miscommunicating. Clearly, the Manager, should have excused himself, relayed the order to the replacement staff, the replacement staff should have apologized and LISTENED TO THE CUSTOMER, and gladly addressed the order w/out issue. The younger man continued to talk under his breath, rudely making remarks and smirkingly grinning and laughing at a paying customer. I highly recommend that the Manager, have a meeting w/the employees in Customer Service and all that it means. LAUGHING at the consumer is bad form and no way to bring customers back. If your laughter is about your prejudice or a matter of having a bad day because you got called into work... having to serve customers, at Subway..I feel sorry for YOU! Laugh buddy all night long because what comes around, goes around. God will be my vengeance and one day, YOU will be made fun off. You will be made to feel devalued and unimportant. I only pity you. Ignorant employees like yourself are a sad statistic in society. Still, I write this because to say nothing, would only excuse your unprofessional careless and abhorrent treatment of customers. YOU need...
Read moreApril 9, 2025 I order though the app, once I arrived I totally forgot I didn't put curbside, so I called in and it was the manager that answer (a black man) dnt know his name, so I explained I forgot to put curbside on my order, he proceeded to say that I had to come inside to get my food, so then I said I really wld like to have it curbside, so then he hung up in my face, I was not rude or anything I was actually speaking nicely. So even though he hung up in my face. I still waited, he comes outside yelling my name because he was so rude and hung up the phone in my face and didn't even ask me what car was I in, so now he in the parking lot yelling my name, so I waved and said I'm over here. He came over and as he was handing me my two subs he rudely said next time you have to order curbside to get your food delivered to you, dnt know why I was so shocked but I was that he said that to me and as he was walking away I loudly said NEXT I WANT BE COME BACK HERE. now just so it's understood I had a similar issue with this location the time before which was actually my 1st time there and I'm pretty sure it was the same guy from the this time that was rude before. The only difference bis when I went back inside the 1st time I had went there (which was over 3 months ago) the owner was in there and seen how upset I was about my food and offered to give me a sub for free. So because of that 1st time incident I said because of the owner I wld go back but give it sometime so I waited over 3 months and on April 9, 2025 like I stated above that is what happen to me, disrespectful, rude and no compassion for a customer that made a simple error on the app by forgetting to put I wanted curbside and on top of that both of my subs wasnt cut into 4 quarters like I asked though the app and one of my subs was cold and should have been roasted. Beware of rude employees at this place, will not be...
Read moreToday's service was terrible. They separated my family's orders, rang up my total in a very confusing manner, then a worker mocked me when I said I didn't understand why I hadn't received some of my food. They completely ignored my granddaughter even after I told a worker that she needed to order. I originally asked for a tray, worker said ok, but they put our order into a bag. When my son asked where his part of the order was (they had left it out), they put everything for the 4 of us on the counter and threw the bag away! I had to hand carry everything for all of us to the table. When I said I didn't understand how they were charging me ( very confusing receipt), a woman behind the counter kept saying loudly, "Oh, boy!" "Oh, boy!", as if wanting all of the food I paid for was an inconvenience for her. Another employee cleaning the dining room apologized to us which I appreciated, but the harm was already done. We will not be patronizing this particular Subway again. We haven't been treated like this before and it was unpleasant. Since prices have risen a great deal we don't go out much. We will spend our...
