We entered this establishment and were immediately helped. They asked for a telephone number and a name. We were seated. The waiter came to the table to get our drink and app order. They brought the most beautifully browned yeast rolls and whipped butter. It smelled amazing. He poured us some water from a wine bottle. I will have to admit, it added a little something extra even though it was only water. It was very soft. Not harsh. We opted to only get water to drink. He asked if we would like to have the specials given to us. We did. First was broiled oysters 2 broiled, 2 oysters Rockefeller, 2 citrus for 18. Then roasted duck breast with micro greens, garlic spinach over sweet potato purée with an orange marmalade glaze, and to be honest I stopped listening after that one. I looked at the menu but couldn’t find anything that stood out to me. I mean the redfish looked good and I always love a good chicken piccata but that duck just kept calling my name. So that’s what I ordered. He had the table 100 cheeseburger with bacon. There was a bacon jam option. We both declined. But had the pork belly as an appetizer. The pork belly was cooked to perfection with the Dijon mustard sauce. There was a beautiful crisp top and the fat was delicate and melted as soon as it touched my tongue. The duck was medium rare. It was absolutely divine. There was a hint of maybe cloves. With the marmalade. I was impressed and that’s a feat in itself. The burger was cooked medium well and was no less impressive than the duck. I will say if I ate bread I probably would have sopped up the remainder of leftovers on the bottom of the plate from the juices. Geez!!! It was amazing. Our server was a strawberry blonde distinguished amazing gentleman that was possibly one of the best servers I’ve had in a few years. I hate that I didn’t catch his name. He is amazingly professional he could definitely show this younger generation what fine dining means. From his brilliant options for us to the correct way to pour beverages, how to hold the bottle, to properly addressing patrons. The ambience was elegant and sophisticated atmosphere that's upscale but not showy. The lighting was perfect. Slightly dimmed but light enough to read menus. It was also a personal table lamp that added a slight bit of elegance. The colors were neutral with white tablecloths to add to that sophistication. The music was soft enough to not drown out your conversation but loud enough to make out. There were no kitchen sounds due to the wall that was a nice buffer. The prices were on point with the quality of the items being served. I was very impressed and will urge everyone to try this place at least once if you’re in the...
Read moreHorrible experience! It was my baby sisters 18TH birthday and I wish we would have gone anywhere but here. The service was the worst. Our waiter was an older gentleman who kept forgetting things and being rude saying things like “don’t move around I’m trying to keep my list organized” “can you wait I’m trying to figure out something”. Forgetting orders, ordering extra food that we did not order! He dropped the burger buns on the floor and cursed (using the S-word) in front of my babies! Just overall rude. Could not tell which persons request he was handling. At the end when I got my bill I declined gratuity which was $40 (just for mine as other people had $50 gratuity etc in my group) and I opted to leave my own desired tip. He stated “you gotta take that up with the manager” and walked off.The manager (female red-head Caucasian with tattoos on her arms and glasses) walked up to me aggressively in my face and I told her the same to which she responded it’s not optional and that she was going to “MAKE ME PAY IT”. I informed her that gratuity can be declined legally and she stated she would contact the police. I told her that was fine and I waited. I recorded also me paying my bill+tax with gratuity excluded. The police came to which they could not do anything about it besides allow the owners the option of pressing charges (which they did not because it is illegal to force gratuity!) the manager followed me, got in my face, disrespected me and she prayed that a white officer would have come to her rescue and further escalate the situation but the odds were not in her favor. She needs to be fired. She is aggressive and truly everyone who witnessed this would agree that she may even be racist. All in all I was trespassed (GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!) I would never have stepped foot there again anyway. And the food was not good (minus the crab claws) 180 dollars down the drain. Get better management and staff. Also Tevin I believe his name is should be the manager he is awesome EVERY SINGLE TIME he has been our server! Then she had the nerve to ask the police for a copy of my license and to take a picture of me to put in the office in which the office declined of course! After that she says she will screenshot me on the cameras…she is literally the last person anyone should have representing...
Read moreDisclaimer: my review is based solely on THE FOOD, as I did not dine in.
I have not been to Table 100 in YEEEAAARS (at least since before moving from MS in 2019, so yeah!). A couple of business associates dined there for a meeting and offered myself and another associate lunch as well. One of them RAVED about Monday’s lunch special: Sweet Tea Brined and Smoked Chicken, served with two sides and a cornbread muffin. He made it sound exquisite, so although I’ve been cutting back on chicken and dairy, I said, “Why the heck not?”
When I got my plate, which consisted of chicken, Tillamook mac and cheese, and broccolini, I was NOT expecting half a chicken! (A welcomed surprise 🤭). I tasted the mac first; my expectations were lowest for it. Let me just say: it, too, took me by surprise — still warm, and well seasoned. While not THE BEST I’ve had, it was definitely one of the best I’ve had from a restaurant, for sure.
I tasted the broccolini last, but I must mention it now. It was nothing great about it, but it definitely was not horrible. I would certainly get it again.
I tasted the leg of the chicken. The bone slid…right…out. I honestly have to words for how good it was.
Unfortunately, however, (you knew a “but” was coming) when I got to the breast…sigh…IT WAS UNDERCOOKED! I was incredibly disappointed. It was pink THROUGHOUT the breast…There was no way around it at all. Like, this wasn’t steak; it’s CHICKEN.
If I had been the one who picked the meal up, I would have simply called to bring it to the attention of the manager. Considering the nature of how I obtained it, however, I feel this was the more appropriate avenue. This particular meal was good and could have been made better if it was done, but I would go back, eventually, to give them a chance to redeem themselves. Everyone has off days!
Peace and love 🫶🏾
