We went for late lunch and was seated right away. We ordered spicy wonton appetizer, har gaw, shrimp crispy noodle, and mongolian beef with fried rice (lunch menu). The portion was good. The food tasted good (nothing spectacular) - Spicy wonton: the wonton skin was soft & the pork filling was flavorful. But I wish they put more meat inside. The chili was spicy and good. - Har gaw: good. A bit dry but lots of filling inside - Shrimp crispy noodle: the noodle was a bit burnt on the edges but the rest was crispy. The sauce was good & lots of shrimp pieces - Mongolian beef with fried rice: it was ok. The beef was tender & flavorful. The fried rice was nice. Overall, a good Chinese restaurant. The portion is good. Would come back to try more items.

Came here for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon around 2:30. Oh my God the food here is amazing! I got the lunch special salt and pepper fish with chow mein. This was the best lunch special l've had in quite some time. The fish was cooked perfectly and season well with just enough spiciness to give it the kick it needs. The fish was not greasy at all. A good amount of fish and then the chow mein was excellent! I haven't had a good chow mein in a while either. Usually it's overly salty or overly greasy with no flavor. Andy's kitchen knocked it out of the park. The first bite of the chow mein I was sent to heaven! If I'm ever in the area I will definitely be back. If you are, I suggest you try it out as well!

Our first time at Andy’s Kitchen. We ordered chicken curry steamed buns, salt and pepper fried fish and pan fried seafood noodles. All three were excellent. The portion size is big. Service was quick, food was piping hot and fresh. Ambience was that of a fast food place, small seating area with maybe 10 tables, 4 seaters. Plenty of Parking space, located at Century theatre complex. Definitely coming back to try more. Heard their garlic noodles are popular.

Disappointing Experience – Especially Be Cautious If Picking Up Late

We visited Sacramento last weekend and, after a long drive, picked up food from Andy’s Kitchen on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the food was borderline spoiled. My wife and I felt sick shortly after eating just a small portion, and we had to throw the rest away—it was completely inedible.

What made the situation worse is that the restaurant is closed on Sundays, so we had no way to speak to anyone the next day. We left Sacramento early Monday morning around 4 AM to return to Los Angeles.

When I called later, a lady at the restaurant was polite and apologetic, saying we would be reimbursed. But when the owner, Andy, called, the tone changed completely. He was dismissive and took no responsibility. He said we should have kept the spoiled food and brought it back on Monday—as if it’s reasonable to store potentially unsafe food in a hotel room for two days and delay a 450-mile return trip just to prove a point.

I rarely write reviews like this, but I feel it’s important to share—especially for people picking up food late on Saturdays before their Sunday closure. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves both food safety and how they handle...

WARNING: This place is under new management. Usually that's a good thing, but not this place. They had no proper menu, no sodas (I felt like I had stumbled into tijuana with the .99 cent glass coke), the waitress was rude and kept bugging us if we even liked the food and took the food away while we were paying and one of us was still eating.

Before I get to the food, If you can't be confident in what you serve, don't serve at all. The quality has gone literally to the dogs. Fried rice? Inedible - they didn't bother to trim the fat from the beef making the meat inedible, greasy, and no flavor. The chicken is lower quality than before mostly low grade dark meat mixed with fatty white meat. No more eggrolls, appetizers, etc until they can even function. The bottom of the plate was dirty and crunchy.

Overall I'm guessing it was not a clean change of hands. The new version of this place made the Burger King look suddenly super appealing

This was my go to for dates with my wife. No more. Also, why are their employees leaving fake reviews?

UPDATE: We got food poisoning from this place. We will be following up with the...
