This review concerns Karaoke night at The Vine Folsom every OTHER Sunday from 6pm-8pm. I noticed from the outside that the venue is a long, skinny rectangular-shaped place. It took me a second to realize that KJ Curtis Morgan and his booth are located within 6' of the only entrance. The venue does not have a built-in TV so he has a 27" TV mounted high (6' or more) on a stand so that when people enter and walk by they don't block the screen. There is a single speaker box mounted up high in the N/E corner of the room (nearly above him). He uses Karafun software with a $50 monthly subscription so he has all the latest songs available. He does a manual queue system and keeps names in the rotation. He seems to have a decent Mixer board and microphones but I think he purposely sets the music (& mic) volumes low (unlike most KJs who always max out the volumes). I felt like I had to sing at a higher volume to hear myself. I think we had less than 10 total singers (maybe it peaked at 8?). It started off with just 4 including the KJ. The most notable thing about karaoke here is the crowd. Even though most people are not singing, the audience really gets into it. Most of the singers seem to have memorized their songs and face the people when singing. The people are really appreciative of good singing and songs they recognize. Even though the show is short in duration, the crowd can thin out before it even closes at 8pm. I managed to get 5 songs in 2 hours. I would definitely want to come back if I am not working too late and can make it here on time. I deducted 1 star for the small TV screen and low music (and mic) volume.

Came here with a friend to get some drinks and catch up and it was definitely a cute spot for doing just that! The Vine is in Old Folsom across from restaurants and bars, making it an ideal spot to possibly start a girls night or date night at if you wanted to walk around after. It’s a cute cozy wine spot with a nice selection to choose from. When we got here it was initially empty but soon people started to trickle in. The worker was really nice, we were able to sample different wines, and he was helpful in answering questions we had. The inside is clean, there’s bar seating, tables, a small couch area, and seats in the window if you wanna people watch. The wine we tried was really good, I really liked their more tart white wines and the sparkling blue champagne. The inside was also nice and air conditioned which helped with the hot weather outside. The day we went they weren’t serving any food outside of salads but the food portion of their menu looked pretty good. This place was super cute and I’d definitely come again!

I came here a month ago. It was wonderful. Then I came back tonight and our server, maleena(sorry if spelling is wrong) was a 15/10. Not only did she remember our exact order from a month ago but remembered details from our conversation about my niece and cars. She is a gem and I want everyone to have the pleasure. Bring a smile, a good mood and an appetite for fine wine and the burata caprese was a home run. Don't sleep on this joint and someone give maleena a raise. She's incredible!!!

Last night, my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting The Vine in Folsom, CA, and it was an experience that left us utterly delighted. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and promptly ushered to our table. Our server, Sarah, was an absolute gem and her impeccable service truly enhanced our dining experience.

Let's talk about the food – the star of the show! The mac and cheese at The Vine deserves its own fan club. Creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned, it was, without a doubt, out of this world. Each bite was a divine revelation of flavor and comfort. We couldn't help but savor every morsel, and it will be hard to forget the delightful taste that lingers on our taste buds.

The appetizers were equally impressive and proved to be unparalleled on Sutter St., Folsom. From the first bite to the last, we were blown away by the creativity and execution of each dish. The flavors were harmoniously balanced, and the presentation was nothing short of artful. The Vine truly sets a new standard for appetizers in the area.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a delightful evening with friends or family. The dimmed lighting and tasteful decor added to the overall dining experience, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and relaxing.

Throughout the evening, Sarah, our server, went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. Her attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor were commendable. She made excellent recommendations, and her genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant and its dishes was contagious.

Not only did The Vine "as always" live up to our expectations, but it exceeded them in every way. The combination of outstanding service, delectable mac and cheese, and exceptional appetizers made for an unforgettable culinary adventure. If you find yourself in Folsom, CA, make sure to add The Vine to your list of must-visit...
