Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I honestly don't write too many reviews, but some cases are just exceptional. I also like to mention that I am the most comfortable customer to have as I am always polite and tip anybody who serves me.

I have been visiting Einstein Bagels on Broward Blvd for quite a while now, I am going there maybe 3 times a month whenever I want to snatch something quick at morning time. Whenever I go there I noticed the cashier is extremely rude and controlling. I always want to have my bagel done the same way. The first time I went there she took my order and messed up by forgetting to add avocado even though I paid extra for it.

The second time, I already knew better and asked her to read the instructions I gave her to make sure there aren't any mistakes, I was nice about and said " could you please read it back to me ? " and she said "it's all there! " and gave me that look of " don't tell me how to do my job". I always take my food to go and when I got to my office, surprise surprise I am dealing with an onion bagel which I hate, and had to throw it away.

The 3rd time happened today, same cashier, still rude, and she forgot to put one of the items, this time I took the receipt and went over it myself. I noticed she forgot one item and told her about it, instead of apologizing she lashed at me and said " it's all going to be there", so I told her - you specifically forgot to put what I asked... And she just turned her back on me walked the other way and wouldn't even reply! ( she probably went to the cook told him manually about her mistake ) What a disgrace, I am a customer and I have the right to get what I am paying for, eating my food the way I want it.

Not only she wouldn't apologize but she raised her voice on me in front of other clients, which was a complete embarrassment.

Last thing I want to write here is that i am not nit picking...But it's more than just messing up my bagel, it's messing up my day with this rude attitude in the morning when it's the most crucial part of your day. My days looks terrible if someone is talking to me like that and affecting my energy at the morning time.

I asked for her manager but she wouldn't call her.

I am going to contact corporate directly, and have them know about this...

I visited the store Friday morning 11/12/21 as I do most Friday mornings on the way to play golf. I arrived just after 6 AM. When I placed my order, i was told there was no way to provide my phone number. I ordered a turkey Sausage and Cheddar with a small coffee. I commented that the staff had not even started to make eggs yet. I went to get my coffee and was told there was no milk or cream available! After almost 15 minutes of waiting, I was told that they did not have turkey sausage available! I had to settle for sliced turkey. The woman standing next to me had been waiting for her order for some time. When she told them that she was going to be late for work, and asked why it was taking so long to get her food, she was told they had online orders ahead of her. She told me that she had stopped coming to this location as it was not up to Einstein Bros standards lately. As I was leaving with my black coffee, I observed the woman behind the counter, pouring milk from a gallon container into a much smaller container. I asked for some milk and was able to put some in my coffee. I am a business executive and was totally disappointed in the poor customer service, and felt obligated to write this review. I am a loyal weekly customer of Einstein Bros. and this location needs to be reorganized.

4/15/22 I decided to give this location another chance, so I returned there on Friday 4/15/22, only to be disappointed once again. The floor was being washed right next to me while I was placing my order. Again, no turkey sausage available, so I ordered ham. When I attempted to provide my phone number, I was told that I should have done so, before she hit the total button. I returned there today 4/28/22 at just after 6 am and waited 10 minutes and still closed and no lights on, so I left and ate elsewhere! I am a regular visitor to another Einstein Bros, but this location is an embarrassment to that company. How it manages to stay in business...

Einstein Bagel and specifically this location on 19 Federal Hwy is the best bagel job I have been to. I live in New York and anytime I visit Fort Lauderdale this is where I go to get some happiness. I even buy extra food to bring back home don't judge me.

Food - Freshhhhhhh, yummy, hot and certainly a whole party in your mouth. Food is made to order of course , there is a whole selection of meat egg, turkey , bacon, ham, salmon, brisket that you can put on your sandwich. Any type of bagel you need this location has it. If u need even a simple bagel and cheese not a problem. The coffee drinks are great and desserts just pick n choose better yet just take it all .

Customer Service - Alot of eateries you go you hope to get good service. Einstein you don't have to hope. The tolerance of the team is good I have seen some rude customers pass through and the staff handle the situations professionally. The staff is friendly, welcoming and when your leaving the send off basically invites you right back in.

Have to add speed and flexibility. They work real fast so not much wait time when you order. And you can order online and pick up in store - up to you.

Environment - Very clean and organized. They open very early hmmmm don't remember the time exactly - think it's 6am though . Restroom you have to get the code to get in and the area is clean as well. There is parking so no issues there in New York I gotta double park at times to buy food. Customers do like to sit and eat which makes it more personal . If in a rush just grab and go.

Overall this eatery will not disappoint. I have added a photo. Sorry I could not get my coffee drink in there I finished it already and forgot to take the photo. Will definitely...
