Wowza! Did we happen on a real true authentic hidden treasure! The owners are from North Italy and their food truly tastes it! This turned out to be an amazing dining experience. Roberta greeted us very soft spoken and attended to our needs diligently starting this experience off to a very good start. From the second we walked in she asked us inside, or, outside? We chose the inside because we got a cozy corner to ourselves, where we felt like we were in their very own dining room. We started with the Insalata Mista, which was very bountiful with fresh mixed greens, surrounded by numerous tomatoes, cules, kalamata olives, generous amount of feta cheese (not your typically salty store bought brand), and, half of fresh lemon, which three of us shared very sufficiently! The salad was served with the freshest Italian bread m, truly a great version and home baked as everything is made from scratch abs fresh bread daily, light and moist, absolutely delicious! Margharita Pizza, freshest ever, sauce was delish, thin crust was crispy, and, their dough takes 48-72 hours to prepare, fresh from scratch, as well as their pasta. The herbs were very fresh, too! Next, Snapper Livanaise, on daily special, truly a favorite of mine, this was off the chain from my other faves I have had. Fresh fish daily and the dish was enough for Rich and I to share, superb, and one of the best we've had! Ryan's Penne Arrabiata Pasta W/chicken he claimed was better than he expected. This is a true treasure and once word gets out it will be a good thing because right now it is the best kept secret, only for a short while longer!!!!! Following Covid19 guidelines and safety with excellence! It was great to meet Chef Kahlill, too,...

Read moreThis place is a mom and pop restaurant. BYOB. Let's begin with Roberta. She runs the front of the restaurant while her husband is the chef. Don't be too rushed! She will come and get your order and serve you. The place is small and does get very busy! First: the bread. I can't tell you how great it is! You'll have to try it to beleive me. On my first visit, I had the osso bucco. Wow! Fork tender and delicious. It was served with tomato sauce tagliatele. The gnocchi bolognese was also delicious. My cousin wanted gnocchi with a rosé sauce (not on the menu) but they made it for her and it was great. For desert, you can't miss the Torta Della Nonna! This almond crust custard pie with a hint of lemon is heavenly! On out second visit, I ordered the special pasta of the day: homemade fettuccine with mushrooms, shrimp and tomatoes. It was silky, smooth and quite generous! My husband ordered the fish of the day. A butterflied broiled trout, topped with 2 shrimp and fresh tomatoes and served with fresh asparagus. It was a hit. My cousin ordered the gnocchi sorrentina. For some reason, the portion seemed smaller than on our first visit and the sauce was a bit disapointing. We will be going back again and again....
