i give this place 5 stars!!! amazing amazing amazing!!! i would spend all my money here lol. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary on a Wednesday, so during christmas we figured it’d be packed!! We got there a bit early and the place was so beautiful and quaint! We didn’t wait and got seated in the most perfect corner (very covid friendly) amazing decor and paintings, and beautiful dining area!! super cozy but also really covid friendly. The place has taken a lot of precautions! Our waiter was amazing although I didn’t get his name. The sweetest dude!!! super attentive, really sweet, and just super warm and welcoming. We got to speak to Angelo, super super sweet and really hard working man!! he’s doing an amazing job and made us feel so comfortable and welcome in the restaurant!!!! The food was to die for. We got the prosciutto as an appetizer (amazing! huge portion and the meat and mozzarella was amazingly fresh and we both loved it so much!!) and then I got the rigatoni with the bolognese and my boyfriend got the gnocchi with the same. He was apprehensive because gnocchi isn’t made really well usually at some places, but we were blown away!!! it was also so fresh and perfectly cooked along with mine!!! Worth the price, worth the wait (if there even is one:)) , and definitely a great ambience!! To top it off, Angelo gave us our tiramisu on the house!!!! They took pictures for us (that we’re also amazing!!) and just were the best with us. They were both so hard working and really doing an amazing job. We loved the place and definitely will be coming back soon for some cheese cake!!!! Will make sure to tell all our friends...

Read moreSaw this restaurant a thousand times but never heard anyone talk about it. My friends love eating out and not one friend ever mentioned this place. I met an out of towner who told me that this place was the greatest restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Hmmm! I tried to get in but was unsuccessful making a reservation. One day on my way to find somewhere to eat I peeked my head in hoping maybe that someone cancelled their reservation and I would be seated. I was told that they were fully booked but the 4 seats at the bar are available so we took them! Very small dining room. Maybe 30 seats or so. We ordered a bottle of wine which was good. Ordered a salad and an eggplant stack which both were nothing special. I ordered a simple dish.... mussels and linguine..red! Sauce was eh! Mussels were very tiny (not the shells) which means they over cooked them. linguine was also over done and the mussels were just tossed in the pasta. Zero presentation! I can't speak for my guest but if you can't make a simple mussels marinara dish then how do you have one of the best ratings of any Italian restaurant in Florida? Let me state for the record and not that it matters. I'm 100% Sicilian. I attended the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). I owned a restaurant and I know food, especially Italian food. My Sicilian mother would put this place to shame! By the way, while we sat at the bar, there were at least 4 empty 4 tops through our entire dinner! Listen, don't always go buy reviews for restaurants. The Olive Garden has 4.3 stars! Everyone knows good food, but not everyone knows...
