In one single visit, everything that I loved about this restaurant has disappeared. The first thing I noticed is that the menu has been drastically pared down from the wide selection of delicious items to a paltry few whose flavors are far inferior to the items that have since been omitted. My fiance is a vegetarian and the fact that there are so few vegetarian options now is another hindrance to ever wish to return. Next, I approach the counter and Christina A (according to my receipt) asks "what do you want today?" flatly, without a smile in sight. We place our order and midway through, she walks away to go speak with a coworker. She returns without an apology or reason. She continues taking our order, until the coworker approaches to show her things on her phone. I paused to let her have her moment in case it was important. The cashier replied "just order, I can multitask". I proceed to give her my rewards number and she said that I gave her the wrong number, despite my fiancee next to me confirming that I gave the right number and she typed it wrong. What actually happened is that she put the number in wrong because she cannot in fact multitask. The coworker returns and interrupts again. I muttered under my breath and the cashier caught an attitude with me. No semblance of customer service whatsoever. Only one of the three tacos that I ordered had any semblance of the correct ingredients and proper portions. The other two were mostly rice and almost no chicken. I've been coming to this location since your soft opening, and brought my fiancee here for our first date. Since then we have been coming with extreme regularity to the tune of several times per month. We always sang the praises of this location specifically and brought new faces to experience this establishment. What was once a hidden gem that I was very proud to bring new faces to is no longer, and has lost all appeal. To say that I'm disappointed is the understatement of the year. I can't see myself coming back here after this terrible experience. I will...
Read moreI had higher hopes for the tacos. I had heard great things about the place. I was actually super excited to try their tacos and in a shrimp taco mood. I will take into account that I ordered online through uber eats… so your order can get messed up and things get missed.
I ordered the new: SAY WHAT?! COMBO, which included 2 takes, a side, and a drink + 2 additional tacos. My tacos: Beer Battered Cauliflower, Mexi-Cali Shrimp, Grilled Salmon, and Sweet Chile Shrimp. I order gluten free and 2 with lettuce wrap, which I thought was a great modification for people who want or need the option. Avoiding dairy is very hair, fyi for those with lactose issues.
My order came nicely packed and quickly. But, there were flaws to my order.
The beer batter cauliflower was by far the bomb. I choose that it was wrapped in lettuce, now I wish I had 4 of these. The sweet chili shrimp was ok, just too many flavors hitting you at once that you could not appreciate the taco. I picked at it and ate the avocado and shrimp and some of the toppings. The salmon, skip it. Way too fishy and I like salmon. The guacamole was amazing, 5 stars ⭐️
Would I go again. Not in a rush. But… I would definitely call in my order or eat there so I could make the modifications I need. I think there is a better review with...
Read morePassed by on a Monday, stopped in on a Tuesday(of course). The cashier helped me with the menu(patiently) and let me try the two different queso dips. Both were perfect. Ordered the rotisserie chicken taco and the cuban taco. Literally smiled the entire time while eating these creations. Shame they only gave me the taco holder at my seat with no plate but the tables all have paper towels. I admit I made a mess without a plate(they were juicy) but I used the paper towels to clean my mess. Manager was helpful with the ingredients also. I will be back here very often as they have amazing ideas and fantastic creations. Can't wait to eat the rest of the menu. Thank yall very much. Also, they're open till 4am Friday Saturday.
Update 2 days later: Katiana(sorry if I mispelled) helped me AGAIN pick out the best items. I went with the red curry coconut queso as an appetizer. Orders the MOJO pork taco and the churasco steak taco. MOJO pork confused me because I misread the ingredients. I read pickled red onions when it actually said grilled red onions. Asked katiana for some pickled red onions on the side and it made it even better. The churasco taco was perfect also. This place has yet to let me down. Such great prices for such great food. I'll be back again very soon to...
