We really want this Red Robin to be great! We have tried three times and it’s been terrible each and every time!
Our first time coming (when the first opened) took 2 hours to get our food. Why would we wait 2 hours for a burger - well the first 45 minutes went by and the manager promised the food was coming out. Twenty minutes later they said something went wrong and they said another 15 minutes.... by that time everything else in the area was closed so we had no choice to sit it out.
Our second trip was actually pretty funny. It felt like we were on one of those hidden camera shows. We expected someone to jump out at any moment to say we were on candid camera. I guess they had a change in management and no one placed a food supply order. They were out of literally everything! I’m not kidding when I say my burger came without the top part of the bun; they ran out of bread. The employees were fun in the process - it wasn’t their fault and other customers were being very hard on them. They ended up not charging us; which was expected.
Our third time was just sad. We sat waiting for our waitress while watching the manager deliver food to other tables apologizing for their food being so late. He seemed to be giving discounts to every table. We had a party of five, we all ordered burgers - I ordered the cod. We ordered an appetizer but it came out when the food came. We ended up sending back because it’s pointless to eat an appetizer when your food comes. It didn’t bother us at all though. The food was greatly over cooked and very dry. Our waitress was really trying very hard given the obstacles given by the management team.
I have worked in retail for many years and every company has “that one” location that can never seem to get it right. This has to be it. I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to manager this location. I’ve never worked in food service but burgers and fries can’t be this hard????? Right????
We are from California and Red Robin is popular. We sure hope they eventually get it together because it’s so close to our house and it would be a nice place to...
Read moreWe came here wanting a burger for our family lunch together (around 12:30pm on a Wednesday) and apparently quite a few other families had the same idea at the exact time. While we waited to be acknowledged at the hostess desk, more families piled inside. When the host finally came around, he asked how many in each party and explained they were trying to clean tables. The problem: there was hardly anyone else there so it must’ve been a party last night and the night shift didn’t clean it up. That’s just my assumption though and you’ll see why if you read further.
As we were seated at our table, I noticed the booth seat was dirty and the floors had food scattered on them. Which is why I assume the night before had a party and didn’t clean it up. Regardless, our server was very pleasant and apologetic about the wait. He seemed to be the only waiter for all of these people though so I can understand why there was a “hiring now” sign right at the entrance.
Our food was great, we received the California Burger (GF bread, no cheese, no Mayo) and the bbq wrap with garlic fries. The fries are unlimited which is super cool!
I ended up having to use the ladies room to wash my hands and noticed the same theme of being dirty had continued into there as well. It was actually disgusting, I wished I could’ve just not visited. There was toilet brush in one of the stalls that clearly had been used to clean someone’s fecal matter, like I said disgusting.
Anyway, Brian was so friendly/attentive and the reason I gave this location three stars. It would’ve been one otherwise. Thank you Brian for great service!! But I doubt we...
Read moreThis was our first time ever visiting a Red Robin. Both my husband and I were excited because we had heard really great things about the chain. We typically don't eat at chain restaurants but decided to try this location because of all the positive comments. We got there at around the noon on a Saturday and the location was not very busy, which was surprising. I ordered the Mad Love burger specifically because of the jalapeno relish and my husband got just a regular burger. The Mad Love was around $3.00 more expensive (making it a $15 burger), but I thought the relish and marinated tomatoes made it worth the splurge. However, once I received my burger, I found that there was absolutely no relish and the tomatoes were just the regular slices used for all the other burgers. The few fries that I had on the plate were soggy and covered in black dust like they had been sitting in a dirty fryer basket for a WHILE. I waited to see if our server would stop by so I could bring it to her attention, but she never returned. In fact, there was hardly any staff on the floor. I finally decided to just eat what was brought because I was starving. After 20 minutes went by, a different employee stopped by to ask if everything was good. By that time I was almost finished, so it didn't make sense to bring it up since the evidence was gone. It was incredibly disappointing. I have literally gotten better service and food from Whataburger at a fraction of the cost. Needless to say, this is my one and only visit to the chain. Very, very,...
