The Blue Room at Emilia's in Fort Worth, Texas, is an absolute diamond that promises an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by an atmosphere that exudes elegance and sophistication. The chic, contemporary décor combined with subtle, ambient lighting creates a perfect setting for a romantic evening or a special celebration. The attention to detail in the design, from the plush seating to the tasteful art adorning the walls, speaks volumes about the thought and care that went into creating this exquisite space. The customer service at The Blue Room is unparalleled. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive, knowledgeable staff who anticipated our every need, we felt pampered throughout our visit. The waitstaff were not only professional and courteous but also well-versed in the menu and wine pairings, ensuring that our dining experience was both seamless and delightful. Now, let's talk about the food – simply divine! Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that left our taste buds dancing. The chef's commitment to using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients was evident in every bite. Whether it was the succulent, perfectly cooked steak, the delicate, flavorful seafood, or the inventive, mouth-watering appetizers, every course was a testament to culinary excellence. Our evening at The Blue Room was nothing short of spectacular, and we can't wait to return. This is a place we will enthusiastically recommend to anyone with a taste for the finer things in life. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Fort Worth, The Blue Room at Emilia's is the place to be.

The Blue Room @ Emilia's is an exclusive restaurant with a beautiful, delightful, and comfortable atmosphere. Their staff, who are highly trained, is friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a good first impression. The only thing is, I don't recommend going there if you're hungry. We started off with a great choice of wine. Although the culinary experience was excellent, the main course portions were like appetizer portions. The first thing they offer is a pre-appetizer menu. The oyster was my choice. The server mentioned it was a teaser, and it was indeed! It was one tiny piece of breaded oyster, served in the shell. That was more of a show than to entice one's appetite. Following that, there is the complete appetizer menu. We passed on that. I ordered the 'Pork Secreto', which consisted of five bitty thin slices of pork served with a small piece of watermelon. The pork was delectable. No sides were offered to accompany the dish. My husband had Chilean Sea Bass. He enjoyed it and expressed his satisfaction with the presentation. There are no options for sides with that either. Although we're not big eaters, the serving size was not enough when we were excited to savor a wonderful meal. We enjoyed the bread that was served warm, and even asked for seconds. Without a doubt, the Chef is an artist! The quality of the food is excellent. We didn't have dessert. We decided to go somewhere else because we did not want any more surprises. We've been to other exclusive restaurants like Monarch and Morton's, etc., and enjoyed ourselves, leaving satisfied and with a more memorable experience to revisit.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at The Blue Room at Emilia’s. For special occasions, we like to splurge on tasting menus with wine pairings and support local chefs in cities around the USA and abroad. Chef Preston Paine is a talented chef and each dish of his six course tasting menu sourced from Texas was creative and beautifully presented. The venison carpaccio al pastor was exquisite and one of our favorites of the night. The baked potatoes culurgiones was a gourmet twist on traditional pierogis and was a pleasant surprise for a guy like me with grandparents from Eastern Europe who always made pierogis for special occasions and holidays. The only disappointment of the evening was the wagyu, which was served raw. Out of respect for the chef, we didn’t want to send it back to cook longer, because we weren’t sure if he intended to serve it raw. Sommelier Wade was warm, informative, patient and personable. Server Xavier was very attentive and obviously well trained and professional. Despite the disappointment with the wagyu, I give The Blue Room 5 stars due to Chef Paine’s creative dishes sourced from Texas, the beautiful presentation of each dish, and the intimate warmth of the room. We highly recommend and will definitely return the next time we are in Fort Worth.

The Blue Room is a smaller more elegant restaurant tucked away within Emilia's which itself is tucked away within the hotel.

The service and atmosphere is fantastic but it often felt almost lonely. Service lasted about 3-hours and by the end the restaurant was mostly empty. It was a shock to walk out the doors to a more lively bar and restaurant scene.

"Jackets are encouraged" but I didn't feel out of place amongst the other diners without one. The AC is cranked up so it may be a good idea to bring one.

We started with an unexpected hors d'oeuvres menu, I had the Everything Bagel and Lox and was surprised to see it served as a miniature ice cream cone. My dinner companions received what's described as a mini-ravioli and were both confused how to eat it. This course seemed designed to peak my interest for what was to come but it ended up just falling flat because of the long delay between the next course and the lack of novelty in the rest of the meal.

My spouse and I split The Little gem salad next, it was fine but not exceptional.

The table split the Lobster Fra Diavolo. Topped with a good sized lobster tail on bucatini pasta with a hint of spiciness to the sauce. The lobster and sauce were good, the flavors were there. But I didn't feel like this dish offered much for the senses.

I finished the meal with the Fish of the Day, a mediterranean sea bass. It was cooked perfectly, flakey, on a bed of polenta, with sundried tomato relish. This was the best dish of the entire meal. I spent time trying to savor every bite and was disappointed when I cleared my plate that there wasn't more to enjoy.

I'm not really sure what the Blue Room is trying to be. Fine-dining with novel presentation, or elegance, or just expertly prepared food. They don't seem to excel at any of these things.

Overall small portion sizes will likely leave you hungry, inventiveness that never reappears after the hors d'oeuvres will leave you let down, but well executed entrées, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere may help...
