I really like this place, a few improvements and it would be a five star stop. The atmosphere in the patio, the area to watch games and even the back patio are greatly set up. The drinks are packed with flavor and while you can't taste strong alcohol you can feel that it's there! ;) The sandwiches are OK but lack a bit of flavor; they are still pretty good for lunch fare. It was a great place to hang out with friends, and if you have a large group it's perfect for that. I really like the location, eclectic spot growing in Funky Town. I like their appetizer choices, wide range of interesting of interesting choices; my favorite part next to the drinks. The waitress was friendly however the setup was a bit confusing. We didnt know it was open seating and we didnt know if or when someone was going to come serve us. They may be served well with a big sign up front with instructions. Id like to bring a big group of friends here. They do have live music sometimes. I hope others experience the goodness so this place is here to stay.

Went to this place for a birthday lunch. It's a very chill and great place to drink and eat. Started off with a Michelada with pulled pork nachos. The Michelada drink was flavorful with a special chile and salt rim on the glass that just hit perfectly. After that the pulled pork nachos was our appetizer. Pulled pork meat was cooked overall great that did not have excessive grease but not dried mixed with regular nacho veggies with blanco queso covering. After that I had a Riverside Yacht Sandwich. Their version of a BLT was too good to be true. Bread was toasted perfect and not too crunchy nor didn't have a soft spot of the toast. Then washed it all down with a Rarh & Sons beer. This place is perfect for a nice meal if you have time to kill or want a nice date to go on. Looks like they have a live band stage that plays too. Maybe for the night or weekend kind of thing. I'll def be back to try other things. The only downside to this place is the menu display. It might be a culture thing but I'd prefer laminated or QR code menus.

I actually discovered this place on accident. I was traveling for business and actually Googled Brewery. When I arrived at the brewery next door, there was hardly anyone inside. I saw a few people sitting on a patio next door. I actually thought it was part of Brewery. When I walked up, I spoke to Daniel. That's when I discovered it was small venue, and with Michael Kelton performing that evening. Decided to stay for the show. I had a really good time they had a limited menu, mainly sandwich. Wriggley, my server was amazing and attentive. She recommended the ham and brea, and it didn't. The show was great with a great atmosphere. I definitely will be back when in town. And shout out to Logan tge bartender at the patio bar who took good care of me after the show.

EDIT 3/21/23: The Post has been under new management for several months now. My husband stopped in for drinks and appetizer, and the manager offered him some coupons to lure me back over lol. It worked! We've been several times and it's consistently been a great experience. The food is good and we haven't run into any supply issues. The new drinks menu is pretty tasty. On chilly nights they have patio heaters running. There are usually performances both inside and outside when we go. They sometimes run a little short on staff out in the patio area, but the servers definitely hustle and try to make up for it. What business isn't short-staffed these days, right? For reference, I previously gave two stars.

I really want to like The Post. I keep returning, hoping it'll be different. After the last visit, I'm officially giving up. I live across the street, and the restaurants/venues were a selling point when I moved to Race St. However, the last 4 times I visited, I was unable to order food 3 of those times due to them running out of ingredients. If you just want drinks and music, this venue will probably be enjoyable.

The first time we had this issue, the server returned to our table THREE times to say they were out of the dishes we had chosen. The third time she returned, I asked why the kitchen couldn't make a list of everything they were out of so she doesn't have to keep running back and forth. She just shrugged. We finished our drinks and left. The next two times, after we got the no go on the food we wanted, we just had a couple rounds of drinks and ate elsewhere because their drinks are really good.

This last time, we came on a Tuesday because they have free live music. We were really hungry. I placed an order for pulled pork nachos. Sorry, out of pork. She gave us a few minutes to find something else. We settled on pizzas--sorry, we don't have pizzas right now. After finishing our first round of drinks we left and won't be back.

My two cents: Have a small selection of dishes you can safely secure ingredients for, and clearly state the kitchen is open until you sell out. Unfortunately, despite all these issues their menu hasn't changed except to add pizzas, which they can't even make for who knows how long (their oven...

We went last night to hear the band that was playing and were super excited about this venue. Their patio is great and it was a perfect evening for outdoor dining. However, we waited a loooong time to be waited on. Someone did bring us water and said they’d be with us soon to take our order. Lots more time passed and finally an overwhelmed waiter came and took our order for drinks and appetizers. We waited again for another loooong period of time (we’d been there well over an hour at this point) and my husband went to check on our order since the waiter had not been back to our table. He was informed that our order was “lost” and they were out of the pulled pork that was needed for two of our items. No offer to rush an order of an alternative selection or to discount or comp us SOMETHING for the oversight. We left and went to another place with an outdoor patio and had food and drinks within ten minutes! Too bad…this place has a ton of potential and the menu looked good. Perhaps they just have staffing issues they...
