I rated this Hooters, with One Star, as they will Not allow ZERO STARS. First, let me start off by saying this is a corporate-owned store. Second, I checked the website to check on the hours. The hours were listed on the website as opened closing at 8:00 PM, which on a Friday night I thought strange. We arrived at 5:30pm and were willing to eat out on the outside dining as we had a service dog puppy with us. We were greeted by the hostess, and asked about our needs. I informed her we were hoping to grab some beers and wings outside, and we were told I'm sorry we are no longer seating. Prior to entering the building I observed a sign on the door that said they were closed at 6:00 p.m. clearly different than the hours posted on their website. We dealt with one young lady behind the register who I initially thought was the hostess. Despite the fact that they were closing at 6:00pm the hostess indicated that she would see if we could be seated. Moments later We were told by a gentleman, the shop manager to go out and have a seat on the patio and somebody would be with us shortly. We went out to the outdoor area and sat. Within a few moments the manager returned and told us that nobody was willing to wait on us, as the hostess had indicated that we had cursed at her. I assured him that was not the case. He indicated that two other waitresses verified it. I told him that he needed to view the tapes and he would see that we only spoke to what I presumed was the hostess. Clearly caught with his pants down he said he would find somebody to wait on us. At this point I told him thanks but no thanks that I could not trust the weight or kitchen staff to prepare my food, and I did not feel comfortable remaining in the restaurant. He assured me that was not the case and that everything would be fine. I assured him that despite his assurances I did not feel safe. As someone who is extremely familiar with Hooters of America, having even considered opening a store, and somebody who spent 15 years in the restaurant business along with several members of my family, I did not feel safe eating in that restaurant. The manager indicated to me that he would view the store tapes. Likewise he complained about being short-staffed and not having enough people to work the dining room. Clearly a problem beyond my control. As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, I frequent Hooters Restaurants, 4 to 8 times a month. Never have I seen such a poorly run restaurant in all of the stores I have been to. In addition to the lack of being able to hire qualified employees. Clearly this store is the insane asylum being run by the patients. Despite having family that lives in the area I will never go out of my way to stop at this restaurant again. 🤔 As a veteran, a fire department first responder for 49 years, and a retired law enforcement officer I have never been accused of lying or been treated as poorly as I was in this restaurant. PS, I have arrested and convicted employees of tampering with customers food‼️The Corporate Headquarters should be ashamed of this store‼️Even consider closing it until it an be run to the HOOTERS OF AMERICA...
Read moreThis was one of the single worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life. This location is an embarrassment to the Hooters brand. Before eating here, I would recommend doing three things; 1. Read my review; 2. Read all the other reviews that have more than a few sentences; 3. Eat somewhere else. After looking at the past reviews, something I didn’t think I needed to do for a Hooters as we’ve come to expect good and fun service along with great food. Sadly, this location just can’t seem to hit the mark. The reviews addressing the issues we had are not new and don’t seem to be getting address by staff or management. We arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm on a Monday and it was about 40% full. They appeared to have at least 6 waitresses but only 5 or 6 tables with guests. We decided to sit down at the bar because they said they had a 45 min wait for a table. Once we sat down at the bar, which wasn’t that busy, it took around 10 minutes just to get water to drink and another 10 before we were able to place our order. We decided to opt for the unlimited wings. Seemed like a great value. It took over 30 minutes to get our first order. Soon as we received that order I asked if we could go ahead and put in a second order which also took her some time to come back and put in. It took almost an HOUR to get our second set of wings. Meanwhile while all of this was going on the dinging room didn’t turn many tables. I counted 7 that were dirty and not being cleaned and they had a lobby full of guest waiting. Several guests came up to the bar to pick up to go orders. Sever had been waiting over 45 min past the time they were quoted to pick up their meals. We saw two cancel their orders and walk out. I mean I would understand if they were packed, but they didn’t have many tables with guests. I’m not sure what happened to back up the kitchen that badly. After reading MANY past reviews this is NOT a new issue for them. I’m unsure why they are unable to fix them? Maybe it’s time for new management! Because if this was my franchise or business, I’d have fired them a long time ago. The servers were friendly, but you could tell they were used to dealing with a slow kitchen and used to making excuses for them. I left hungry as I didn’t want to wait another 30 min or more to get another order of wings. We were there close to 2 hours and it was miserable! Watching all the issues this place has is sad. Reading past reviews to see it’s not a new issue is even sadder. Hooters should be ashamed of this location and they need to take steps to correct them immediately! We will never eat at this location again and strongly recommend that you...
Read moreOur first day in America from Australia and our much-anticipated visit to the iconic Hooters quickly turned into a disappointing debacle during our first day here. The initial excitement fizzled out the moment we stepped inside.
Approaching the counter with eagerness, we found ourselves waiting for what felt like an eternity, completely ignored by the lady stationed there, engrossed in her till. After an awkward 3-5 minutes of being blatantly overlooked, we finally broke the silence, asking about grabbing a menu and seating ourselves. Her curt and unenthusiastic response, "Yeah, just sit over there at table 3," devoid of any greeting or basic hospitality, set the tone for the dismal service ahead.
Despite hoping it was an isolated incident, we proceeded to our table, enticed by the promising menu offerings, particularly the burgers. However, our anticipation quickly turned into frustration as we sat there, watching the clock tick by. Five minutes passed, then ten, and eventually fifteen, without a single staff member acknowledging our presence or bothering to take our order. Meanwhile, a group of employees behind us engaged in casual chatter, completely disregarding the customers awaiting service.
Disheartened by the complete lack of attention, we made the disappointing decision to leave after being blatantly ignored for a staggering 15 minutes, opting to dine at the neighboring Applebee’s instead.
The contrast was staggering. At Applebee’s, from the moment we stepped in, a proactive staff member promptly welcomed us and seated us within seconds. In less than two minutes, our drinks were served, and within five minutes, our orders were taken. In a mere 15 minutes at Applebee’s, we had our food in front of us. In the same duration at Hooters, not a single employee bothered to engage with us.
Hooters, renowned for its brand and service, failed egregiously in delivering even the most basic hospitality. The stark disparity between the two experiences left us profoundly disappointed. This visit certainly shattered the perception of Hooters in America, leaving us incredibly dismayed and...
