Hoggy's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Frankfort

Dine in .. this fun local ice cream shop is well worth the drive. The staff was very friendly & helpful.. the shop was very clean & decorated with fun murals. There are a few tables on the main level, a small loft area that would be a nice place for a small party. There are also several comfortable looking tables out side. They have a great variety of ice creams & homemade waffle cones. The ice cream is absolutely delicious and has a great texture.. I don't like ice cream made with too much heavy cream as it coats your mouth this doesn't do that. It melts nicely in your mouth. I got the Peach, the White Chocolate Raspberry & a scoop of MINT Chocolate Chip which was my favorite. My mom also got Butter Pecan which was also delicious. Definitely will be back anytime I'm...

What a perfect way to end a visit to Downtown Frankfort!!!

When we first walked up to Hoggy's the line was too long for our impatience, so we walked down to the river and around the block. When we got back the line was still out the door but not nearly as bad as earlier.

We ordered waffle cones in varying sizes and ate as we walked back to our AirBNB. The cones were fresh and crisp; the ice cream perfectly flavored and served in satisfactory scoops. They did not skimp on the serving size. They had a large selection of flavors to choose from...a flavor everyone.

What a joke! I came last night and the line was so long I didn't have the patience to wait over 30 minutes for ice cream, so I left. I figured it must be really good, so I decided to come back today and give it a try... I'm actually laughing at all the people who waited for this. There is NOTHING special AT ALL about this ice cream! Baskin Robbins and Coldstone have way better ice cream, Haagen Daz from the grocery store is better. I'm in shock that people actually wait in such a long line for ice cream that tastes like any grocery store ice cream. strange... Definitely don't recommend and definitely won't...
