I wrote this as both an observer and also on the receiving end of discrimination by the manager Jessica at McDonald's as a paying customer. It is important to address and shed light on the treatment of disabled patrons by staff, particularly those in management positions such as Jessica who work at McDonald's. It is disheartening to hear that I am not alone in being treated in a manner that is abusive and unjustified. As I hear about instances where other individuals with disabilities have been subjected to the harassment and mistreatment while trying to enjoy a meal I must voice this and start the conversation for the community to take and demand action.
First and foremost, it is essential to acknowledge that every individual, regardless of their abilities, deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and equality. Discrimination or harassment towards disabled patrons is not only morally wrong but also goes against the principles of inclusivity and accessibility that should be upheld by any establishment.
In the specific case of Jessica, there are numerous reports with evidence showing that she has treated disabled patrons in a manner that is derogatory or harassing, it is crucial for McDonald's management to take swift action. The management team should thoroughly investigate any complaints made against employees and ensure that appropriate disciplinary measures are taken if necessary. It is imperative that McDonald's creates a safe and inclusive environment for all customers, regardless of their disabilities.
Furthermore, it is essential for McDonald's to prioritize disability awareness and sensitivity training for all employees, especially those in management positions. By providing comprehensive training on interacting with disabled individuals and understanding their unique needs, McDonald's can foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for all patrons.
It is important for McDonald's as a company to take an outward stance against any form of harassment or mistreatment towards disabled individuals. By actively addressing and rectifying such incidents, McDonald's can strive towards creating an environment where all customers feel valued, respected,...
Read moreI really struggled with leaving this review as I don't like being one of those people who posts negative reviews all the time, but unfortunately this is probably 1 of the only negative reviews that I will leave... I feel bad for the workers because there are some of them inside who are really working their tail off and I have seen this when I go inside trying to skip the 25 to 35 minute long drive-through waits.... I have kids so parents will understand why we do this... Every time I go I am guaranteed that there is going to be a wait of at least 15 minutes or more on a good day. the last time I went, I went inside to skip the ultra long drive-through line. it was about 7:30 or 8pm o'clock at night and I went inside and there were people arguing and fighting and demanding refunds everywhere. I witnessed 2 of the younger workers toss their heads sets aside and say they quit and walked out in front of 6 or 7 customers including me. I wasn't even surprised that all this happened...I actually walked in expecting it which is very sad. I would never go again, but my 2 young kids love to get the chicken nuggets and fries.... If anyone important reads this please please take notice and do something about this location. the McDonald's on the other side of Frankfort runs like a top but it is just too far too efficiently drive fuel and time wise even with the waits.
Terrible service every. single. time. It is really a joke at this point and I'm not even mad at the workers there...there is really no leadership, supervision or management at this location at all. the people actually working, or trying, are just trying to survive and need help. At this point, this place is just running on brand recognition and name alone. it should probably be shut down honestly.
4/20/23, I went the other night for chicken nuggets and fries for my kids again and waited in the drive-through for 36 minutes. When I pulled up there were only 3 or 4 cars there but it quickly turned in to wrap-around the building and sitting idle for ages. I think that is completely ridiculous.... but I made...
Read moreI came to this establishment for a nice family dinner last night and unfortunately what was a supposed to be a nice family dinner became a tragedy. It all started when my son Timofee went up to the register looking to order a nice Big Mac with 1 pickle 3 slices of cheese 2 tomatoes half a cm of onions 2 squirts of ketchup and 15 packets of mayo on the side. However something I never saw coming happened. THEY WERE OUT OF MAYOOOOOO. My son timofee was outraged he started going crazy and punched my daughter Rayvene who it was her 3rd birthday. Then out of no where the cashier who was blonde huge mustache that was surprisingly ginger I believe his name was Sean looked like last name was probably James told me that MY KIDS were acting up. THIS IS NOT HIS PLACE TO TELL ME HOW MY KIDS ACTED. Also I ordered a fish filet and compliments to the chef. Now back to the horror story. Timofee was now biting his sisters teddy bear screaming where’s my mayo. Then Sean the cashier handed us our food with NO MAYO and I finally got the kids to settle down. Then it was time to give my daughter her present. I spent 5 months working overtime every day to afford this. It was a Barbie with only 1 arm. Then the devil reincarnated (Sean) spilled 2 bottles of sprite on my daughter. I KNEW IT WAS ON PURPOSE but he apologized and we left in disgust. But to be fair the atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL And I can tell Sean James was going through a tough time I can tell he probably got divorced recently and lost his over weight son John. My family will never recover from this however I hope Sean gets his life back on track. 5...
