I have lived in Franklin for 25 years, and i am completely amazed this place hasnt been closed up. The food and service has been horrible everytime i have gone there. Today i had been golfing majority of the day and after i dropped my buddy off i ran up to the Macdonalds on Armory drive to get a large big mac combo with a pie (yeah, its alot, i havent eaten all day, wanna fight about it?) I sit at the speaker about 7 minutes before i finally hear "MacDonalds." I take this as a cue to order, so i place my order, she tells me "Pull up." So i wait in line to pull up to the window to pay, get there and the window slides open "Nine o eight" with an outstretched hand. I hand her a $20 and say "Hi how are you tonight?" Which she replies with "how you" and the door shuts. Door opens back up with my change, i take it, and then the door shuts again and she dissapears. Ok whatever, i pull up to the window for my food. The girl was soft spoken and seemed nice, she gave me my drink, them said they just dropped fries, i wait a few minutes and here comes my bag of food i've been thinking about for the past 9 hours. I drive back to the house to finally sit down and chow down. Open the bag, pull out the pie, then pull out my fries. Literally the most dissapointing thing i have seen. We all know the only good thing that Macdonalds sells is the fries. This large container was only filled about a third of the way. Really? Like,, REALLY? YOU JUST DROPPED FRIES IN. WHY DID I NOT GET ANY. WHY DID I PAY FOR A LARGE IF I DIDNT GET IT.
OH YEAH
ITS THE FRANKLIN MACDONLDS.
The same place that stuffed 2 receipts into my sweet tea one time. The same place i waited in line for 45 minutes for 2 mcdoubles and a frie only to get a mcchicken and a salad. The same place that gave me a big mac without the patties. The same place that the employees are more worried about socializing than working. The same place that the restaurant is greasier than the fries.
If you are passing thru Franklin, Va,, do not stop at the Macdonalds, tacobell/kfc, or wendys.
Honestly, Franklin Macdonalds is the absolute worst fast food restaurant i have ever been to. And im talking like 24 states. I guess thats something to...
Read moreOh my god, where do I even begin. Throughout our travels up and down North Carolina and Virginia, we've stopped at this McDonald's a few times. It's never been more than a two star joint, but this time was beyond awful. It took twenty minutes at least for three happy meals and a two piece nugget. There were no lids that fit our cups, we told the cashier (who was more occupied with talking to her friends in line and off duty co-workers who were in the "dining room" still- by the way, the cashier was a manager) that three of us we're getting sweet tea and one was getting Sprite. However, there was no tea urn (sweet, nor unsweet) available. So, then we wait. We wait, and we wait, and we wait. Then we wait some more. Finally, we get our happy meals. No toy, no explanation when we ordered them that they wouldn't be getting toys. Instead? Some type of hockey puck "chocolate chip cookie" -- in only two of them. I had to go back up there and ask for the third one. The manager told an off duty employee to get another cookie. Then, after maybe two or three minutes, I get a cookie. Also, the manager told him who to give it to me (me) and he stood there arguing with her that he didn't see anyone. I have bright blue hair and I'm extremely pale skinned. There's no way he didn't see me standing there when not to mention, nobody else was standing near me. My nuggets, somewhat warm. Fries, soggy and cold. Also, is it okay for an ice bucket that has ice in it while it's being used for the frappes and other blended ice beverages? That's quite disgusting, honestly. I watched the manager pick the ice bucket up off of the floor and put some more ice in the blender. This was the worst and most gross McDonald's experience I have ever had. My family and I will not be going back, not even to stop for...
Read moreWorst attitudes of any other fast food chain. And what's up with the lobby opening when they want to? Keep it open or keep it closed...geez. seems they lock the doors whenever they feel like.it! One year later and it's only gotten worse! I ordered a large sweet tea and oatmeal. The manager did not even know how to use my app code. I was asked to pull up and wait for the oatmeal... 13 minutes later I go inside and they had not even started making it! There was no other cars in the Drive-Thru behind me and the only customers inside were already eating so there was absolutely no excuse what's so ever! Last week exact same scenario at a different McDonald's. The owner came inside while I was there and after several minutes asked me what I was waiting for. I told her and I also told her I've been waiting 19 minutes. She goes behind the counter and ask the manager on duty why it has taken 19 minutes for oatmeal. The manager very rudely and loud says in her ebonic vocabulary "naw she ain't! She ain't been waitin no 19 minute in 'hur' fuh nut-in'. So yep that's when I had to step up and ask in my own vocabulary style "did you f'n forget that this receipt you gave me has the time on it!!??" "So yes ma'am I absolutely have been standing here 19 minutes plus two more since she asked you"!! I don't know what it is about McDonald's but of all the ones I've been in on my travels across the countr, every single one of them should be closed down!! I swear they hire the most uneducated and lazy people they can find! Today was it though... As much as I love McDonald's oatmeal I don't plan to ever step in...
