Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Frederick

EDIT: UPDATING MY REVIEW TO 1 STAR BECAUSE ITS BEEN OVER MONTH AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY REFUND. I called a week after trying to get my refund, was told the manager had an emergency and would be back tomorrow and would refund me. Still nothing!

The only reason why I didn't give 1 star was because all the other times I've been here, the experience was normal. Today I placed an order online and I tried to pick up at 11am but it said they were busy and I had to pick up at 1230pm. So I waited the hour and a half and went to pick up my two sandwiches. After 15 minutes of waiting I double checked to make sure they had my order, which they found after looking through the stack of orders they had. I waited another 15 minutes and it still wasn't ready so I just asked for a refund. 30 minute wait for 2 sandwiches is a little much especially when I ordered way...

Slow service, sub-par smoothie. I counted 7 workers behind the counter doing various prep/cleaning work but only one person making smoothies when six tickets had backed up. My smoothie (banana + strawberry + blueberry) took 15 minutes and was watered down to the point where it tasted like blueberry water. Blend, add more water, blend, add more water, blend, add more water. This repeated four times before scooping it in the cup and calling it "good." There was also an employee mopping the floor behind the counter at 6:30pm while six other employees navigated around them. So first walking in the back door I came inches away from being hit by the bathroom door by one of the associates who gave me a dirty look and never apologized, second it took several minutes for them to acknowledge me and there wasn’t any line, third the online pick up isnt labeled well, I also came in five min after my order was supposed to be ready and only the smoothie was ready and the girl who handed me my wrap was very rude saying how I was supposed to wait to pick up the order until the intended time at that point 10min before. Over all I wouldn’t return here to this location very unprofessional and rude pretty...
