We had no wait time when we arrived and we're immediately seated. But then 30 minutes went by before anyone recognized us. We started considering leaving and going to another restaurant! 15 minutes later, my boyfriend got his alcohol, which he ordered with a water (which the water never came). An hour into our visit, the waitress apologized because we never got our bread (I didn't even know we got bread for snacking on!) turned out someone else delivered our bread to a table behind us! While she finally took our order for appetizers, I literally watched as another girl delivered my drink to the table behind us! I took benefit of the doubt (which I wish I didn't). 15 minutes later, the waitress came out with our SIDES for our dinners! 5 mins after that we got our appetizers! THEN the waitress realized I had nothing to drink! She apologized and said someone will bring it right out. A few minutes go by and she came back with 2 glasses for me since I was waiting so long. Then we finally got our dinners, which his steak was amazing! My dinner was cold as the freezer is had to have come out of. I ordered the chicken parmesean and got the cheapest looking dinner ever for $23. Ordered the Alfredo for the side, and that was the smallest serving of noodles I've ever seen at an Italian restaurant. I couldn't eat my plate so we traded. His steak was cooked perfectly! He was so upset but he loves me thankfully đ . The manager did come by and ask us how our food was but once we just mentioned we were fine he ran off. Didn't apologize for the kitchen or the obvious hell the staff was going through! We ordered desserts and those were the BEST part of the night. The brownie mousse was a DREAM and the cheesecake was to die for!!
Needless to say, we won't be willingly coming back to here unless it's just for dessert đ. We had driven over an hour to eat here since it was our closest Carrabba's, and I do not think it was worth it. Our bill was over $100 for a small amount of food that wasn't even that great and poor service. The restaurant wasn't even packed at the time we...
Read moreI am sharing my experience as a server of almost a decade who has worked for a sister company and therefore understands how this place runs. Our server on Friday (Dec 22nd) seemed very friendly at first, but very quickly became unavailable. It took nearly ten minutes to flag him down to ask for an extra salad dressing and nearly another ten minutes to get said condiment. I understand that corporate has implemented food runners in order to keep servers as customer facing as possible, but that becomes useless when you don't see your server's face. It would've taken less than a minute to ask the kitchen yourself for a side of dressing as opposed to sending a ticket back and hoping someone sees it (which they didn't. He ended up having to go back to the kitchen to grab the dressing himself anyway). Everything from the apps to the dressing to entrees took FOREVER. I swear from the time we put food in to receiving it felt like at least an hour. I heard other tables submitting similar complaints and saying that food was also cold once they did receive it. Once we got our food, I asked for a side of pomodoro. Some more waiting. We asked for the tab about ten minutes in and in the ten more minutes it took to pay, box our food up, and go, the pomodoro was nowhere to be seen. As far as I understand, the sauces just sit in giant pans and it takes a few seconds to ladle some into whatever container. There's no reason it shouldve taken that long. Our server just kind of laughed about it and acted like it was no big deal, which peeved me. I'm not sure if hosts need to start implementing a wait time to give the kitchen time to breathe and certain servers need to be given smaller sections in order to give a more quality service to each table, but that was the worst time we've had in a restaurant in a...
Read moreFirst time eating at this chain. Disappointment all the way. Veal piccata had caper juice in the lemon sauce, along with the capers. It was too salty to eat. Fettuccine alfredo sauce was to thick. Sent it back and got chicken parmesan with asparagus. I had to take most home bc I ate the salad and bread so I was full.
Salad had HUGE end pieces in it. Carrots were sliced instead of shredded, making them too tough to chew. The tomatoes in the salad were tough. Got a different salad. No difference.
Ordered scallops for my fettuccine. They were too tough. Sent them back. They came out again, not tough but not that melt-in your-mouth-tender scallops are when cooked right. AND they had so much pepper on them I got a canker on my tongue. I don't eat spicy food. Had to wipe the pepper off.
Cannelloni cake tastes like buttercream frosting on yellow cake. It was WAY too sweet for me, not for friend.
Tiramisu. The stuff I buy at Costco is better. The whipped cream was very stiff & dense. The whole thing was dry. However one I got home and ate it, it was much better. They should take it out of the fridge or somehow heat it up a little bit before serving it.
I ordered the latte when I ordered dessert. It came after dessert was done. Sent it back. I would have taken it in a to-go cup but they don't have to go cups.
Great waitress, but not around enough. We had to flag her down several times, or ask one of the runners for assistance.
Didn't eat the asparagus yet, but I assume it's al dente, which means it will be too tough for me to eat.
We won't be back.
