Update 2/3/2022: Changed from 2 stars back to 5 stars. They’re good again. I think after COVID, they were getting used to helping a lot of customers. But they’re back and food and service has been good again. Front cashiers and waitresses who were here before are back. Highly recommend. Best garlic sauce and Mediterranean food in Fresno. It is now a bit pricey, but we mainly only come here now for special occasions and when we’re craving their food. Still our go to for Mediterranean food.

Old review, back in 8/2021: Went here a couple months ago. They have increased their prices across the board by about $1-2 on everything. It’s starting to get too expensive now. We would go here more often if it was cheaper. We’re spending almost $200 every time now. Our last visit was not very good. We called in for takeout and arrived about 35-40 min later. Our order was not done yet and we had to wait another 30-35 minutes in the restaurant.

They were literally serving food to people who arrived after us who were dining in, even before our food was ready. One couple was literally almost done eating while we just waited at the front. Not too happy about that. They have all new waitresses. They’re not very good or friendly. We suspect our order was not put in until we arrived. Our food was not good either. They’re usually on point, but not this time. Our meat on the kebob sticks were overcooked and dry. I know it’s takeout, but they’re also giving us way less food than they did before. We have been going here for over 10 years. Also, we ordered 5 full dinners, but they only gave us one hummus & pita chips. They usually give us 2 hummus. Last, the fatoush salad was not edible. Whoever made it that day put way too much dressing. It was literally drenched and so sour and high in dressing we couldn’t eat it. And we like sour.

Overall, after COVID-19: all new waitresses who are not very friendly, costs much more across the board on all items, food is now overcooked or dry, fatoush salad no longer good, and takeout order customers are less priority even when calling in 35-40 min in advance. We won’t be going back here for awhile. Time to look for another...

Usually this place is top notch. Lately, prices are higher and service lacking. We went there for lunch and the dining room was busy the two servers were getting plates out quickly to diners. We seated ourselves but no one came to our table for at least 15 minutes. I was on a limited lunch period and no server came still, so I went to the counter to place our order. They know me as I come fairly regularly. The food finally came and we had to eat quickly. The Fatoush salad is always the best around and did not disappoint. The Tabouli had a weird flavor and did not seem as fresh as usual. Instead of a vibrant deep green color, it was a brown green color. I couldn't eat it. I got a combo salad, no noodles, more fatoush. The other dish was fine. I paid the bill AT THE COUNTER quickly and left to get back to work. Later I looked at my bill because I was wondering why 2 lunch dishes were totaled over $31.00 with no beverages, $36 with tip. Then I noticed there was an extra "service charge" on the bill. This must be new as I've not noticed it before. I looked at my take-out receipt from last week and the extra fee was there. There was no explanation from the restaurant or notification. I usually LOVE this place but now with higher prices and sneaky charges, I am going to have to not come here as often as I had...

Great Mediterranean food. The lady serving us was very so helpful. We tried 4 different meal all of them were amazing. The baba ganoush and Hummus were delicious. I had a shawarma gyro with garlic sauce. One of my favorites. The garlic sauces we heard about are now another favorite. Our server bought out extra. Thank you. One is made garlic and potatoes and the other was made with garlic and mayonnaise. The potato one was put on everything. So good so good! My mom order the lula bowl. Its a lamb dish, she loved it. She used the garlic sauce that came with the chicken garlic. we ordered it because it sounded so wonderful. Especially if you love garlic. The last amazing dish was the beef bowl. The wife ate all of it. With garlic sauce also. We stopped at House of Kebab after a doctor visit. This fantastic place lifted our spirits and gave us a much needed...

My first time at this resteraunt. It is a Mediterranean themed food. Lamb, chicken, beef, and some seafood options. Side of peta bread, hommus, and rice pilaf. The service was nice and the people were freindly. The one thing that was really bad was the salad. It had an old flavor to it, and it only tasted like lettuce. So my wife and I did not eat much of it. They were also playing rap music when we got there. No, I do not like rap. But they changed that, so I guess we were a little early for the lunch crowd. Three meals cost us over $100. 00, with tip. The pictures on the walls were very old painting and they seem to have been painted by a preschooler. But the place seemed clean and it was inviting. Minus the rap! they also served sandwiches and some less expensive meals. Try it, I don't think you would be disappointed.

Very very disappointing. I don’t know how they managed to get 4 1/2 stars on Google, those reviews are either fake or something happened to the management of the place a while ago. Place is filthy, personnel is absolutely unfriendly, food is unacceptable. Especially after COVID you expect that restaurant owners would start paying attention to the business and the way the are running it, we’ll obviously this is not a case. Came in with my kids for a lunch, I really hope that nothing is going to happen to us after this lunch. No dish was good, all dishes were over cooked, dry and not eatable…never seen Armenian kebab prepared on the flat range in chunks, not on a skewers ;( It is shame it is called “Armenian”, we - Armenians know how to cook…
